My Son prefers the Wolf to the Kun style because it can be shaped to the player . He was previously using a violin shoulder rest , but now that he has a 16 1/2" viola , he needs this one and he is pleased . The local violin shop didn't have this in stock , their price was higher , and it would have taken 2 weeks... so this worked best.

Good for short necks. HOWEVER, it doesn't give a lot of coverage; it doesn't go all the way from side to side - there's a gap. Also the screw that makes it short on the right side digs into your chest if you screw it all the way down - as you would need to do if you have a short neck. Overall, it's uncomfortable.
