I purchased this October 13, 2023 because one of my customers had about 12 banker boxes of financial records they wanted shredded. I shopped around different companies that do that but she did not want her records being hauled offsite and handled by people she did not know. The cost of having a company come and do it onsite was very high. So I told her if she trusted me, I would buy a shredder and just shred documents in the evenings until they were gone. She agreed. I told her she could pay for the shredder and have it when I was done. It took a couple months of shredding in my spare time. After that she did not want the shredder so I kept it. I have been using it for my own business ever since. It has been a workhorse and very seldom have I jammed it. It does need a break now and then if you are shredding continuously. The motor shuts down when it gets too hot to prevent damage. So that is my long winded way of saying this can handle a lot of shredding. 12 full banker boxes are a lot of papers. I have used it quite a bit since. I do add a little 3-1 oil to the rollers every now and then by oiling up a sheet of paper and running it through. This seems to help keep the cutting wheels in good shape.

I’ve been using this for close to a year now. No jams, no problems, so nothing but positive things to say about it. It’s a good value and performs well.

I had my large shredder for years finally died on me very difficult to find a replacement without spending like $400. I believe my old one cost me like 60 dollars. I wanted a nice tall one that I didn’t have to empty all the time this fit the bill and it is definitely very quiet. It doesn’t seem as strongly built as my other one, naturally, but you know this is our day and age everything is made of breakable easy plastic. I tried a couple and returned them, was not happy. I did get this one not feeling completely comfortable and yes, it’s definitely not as well-built as something might’ve been made six years ago even. Like I said, they don’t want you to keep anything that’s for sure but this is very quiet. It works well. It has nice wheels like I said not as dirty and built but working well if I had any complaint which I think is probably a safety issue I’m not sure, but it seems like I have to turn it on if I’m not using it constantly I’ve got it shut off and then I gotta turn it back on which the button is in the back. And the button is on the back to shut it off and I interesting. But I’m getting comfortable with it it seems to be working and it definitely is very very quiet. I don’t. You can hardly even hear anything running through it so we’ll see it’s been a few months now and I still using it.

Sturdy, handles paper and shreds multiple pages at the same time.

Purchased to replace a Fellowes shredder of similar size that began getting clogged after 4 years of service. The capacity to handle up to 12 sheets vs 6 on my old device for basically the same price was appealing. Many of the reviews mentioned how this item will overheat after high use sessions. I did experience that on my second stack of about 3 inches of documents. Waited a half hour but still wouldn't shred so just waited overnight.I did try a couple of 8 page stacks but found it slowed the process and seemed to strain. Switched to groups of 2 to 4 pages and seems to handle that easily. Wish it had an indicator light when its on. Have to remember to take if off AUTO mode after using.Tried the separate CD feeder for some credit cards but found that this mode still leave large portions visible. Now use the paper shredder for those instead.Very useful for home office use. Only use this 2-3 times a week now that my mountain of old docs have been processed. I anticipate that this will last longer than the 4 years from my Fellowes.

Very noisy and easy to clog. For the price, it's ok and I decided to keep it. Large bin (I wish it was larger), the14 pages capacity is real but one or two more and it stops.

Had to look to see if the paper was getting shredded.OIL: Operators manual says to use only shredder oil and not use kitchen or other oils. Nothing to tell me when, where, how or how often oil may be needed.VALUE: Very nice shredder but I think it is over priced because it shreds less than18 pages and limited use time automatically shutting down for 45 min after only 15 min or less use.11-13-2023 UPDATEPAPER HANDLING:The shredder shuts off after about 8 to 10 min. OR less. More often less, much less. Collection bin was emptied. Tried feeding 14 pages. Jammed and red light came on. When the red light comes on it disables all functions on the shredder. Reverse won't work and jammed paper has to be physically be ripped out. Cleared paper from jam. Unplugged for good measure, waited 2 hours, then plugged in, power turned on, got blue light, pressed shred forward button. Shredded 10 8 1/2 x 11 20# printer paper sheets of paper, red light came on shredding stopped. Unplugged the shredder did some other work. After 2 hours, plugged back in, turned power on and biue light came on. Pressed start for shredding. Shredded 8 pieces thin junk mail and 5 sheets of 20# printer paper 8 1/2 x 11 one page at time, red light came on and shredder stopped. That experience was repeated many times before I finally quit trying to use the shredder.VALUE: None. Do not buy. I reduced my rating from a 4 to a 2 because It constantly shuts off after only a few minutes of very light use. Frankly I think it deserves a rating of 1, but I gave it a 2 as it was well packed and promptly shipped and has good instructions. It is big, heavy, difficult to lift, repack (I have the original box) and handle. I am 78 yr. old and it is not worth it to me to struggle with trying to return it. I think it would be a mean thing to give this to another person, even if free. It will go in the trash where it belongs.

Received a defective shredder. Red light indicates it’s loaded when only 1 piece of paper is placed into the shredder. I’m surprised the shredder wasn’t tested before it was shipped.

Just got this and satisfied with how small it cuts. My old one of a diff brand is still working but shredded pieces are big. Hopefully this one lasts long because size is perfect.
