I absolutely love these pliers! I had a screw that would NOT budge after putting it and turning it a couple of times with the Allen wrench it came with. Seemed like the screw was just too big and so I accidentally stripped the screw head and now I was upset! lol.. I bought these only because of what they were called. They worked like a charm! I had to use what muscles I did have, however, the pliers gripped the screws so perfectly that I was able to screw them in without the use of any other tools and/or machinery! They also worked in taking OUT the screws easily! I'm lovin' them!

Had a hex bolt head round out when building a gazebo in our back yard. These easily gripped the outer edge of the short bolt head and was able to spin it out.

This tool was affordable and worked perfectly! Serrations in the gripping surface are cut sharp and deep allowing a solid grasp on the damaged screws.

1st of all I saw the vampliers. Then saw this version which was a lot less expensive than the vampliers and from the reviews I had read that these pliers were and worked as good as the vampliers. I just got them yesterday cause I didn't have a screw extracting plier in my arsenal of tools. I took a screw that was meant for use on a #3 Phillips screwdriver or bit and on my drill used a #2 Phillips bit and drove it in and stripped the head of the screw and couldn't remove it either way. I drove the screw so far in that I decided to use these pliers to remove the screw. Lowe and behold the screw started to turn as I backed it out. I eventually got the screw out with little or no effort at all. For the money spent on this pair of pliers I find that these pliers work as good as the vampliers for extracting screws cutting wire and the like. They are good pliers for the money spent and good brand of tools to have handy when needed. Thanks Amazon for carrying this brand of tools and type of screw extracting pliers.

I am not a tool expert. But I needed something to extract a screw with a broken off head in a window frame. I have other pliers from everyone's favorite swedish home goods and furniture retailer (like I said, not a tool expert). I spent about a half an hour trying with the old pliers and could not get the screw out. These did the job in one minute flat. Wish I had bought these earlier, would have cut back substantially on the damage I did to the surrounding wood trying to remove the screw with my old pliers. Can't speak to the durability but still very happy with the purchase.

They're good for your own home projects. Wouldn't be something I'd use on a day to day basis as an electrician buy for home projects a fair price for a decent tool
