This socket is a welcome and necessary addition to any toolbox, because o2 sensors will go bad! It comes packed very nicely in a compact box that you could store it in. Black oxide finish like impact sockets. 3/8" drive is pretty standard and keeps the overall size compact. Looking at the machine work on the hex, it isn't going to be on-par with high-end tool brands, but it doesn't need to be, it just needs to get the job done. For the price, you can't go wrong and this will make the difference of getting the job done.

All ready to install new fuel/air sensor for my Toyota branded product. Six point aspect of the socket is perfect. 3/8" end is designed to accept socket extension or other 3/8" tool for use. Prior to owning one of these tools, I spent much time rounding off the sensor nut with pliers and other tools not designed for this task. Take the time to do this install correctly. Spray penetrating lube on the threads and let them soak for while. I let mine soak for over a day, going back a few times to re-apply penetrant. Use a good sensor tool and then always, always use the genuine OEM not OEM equivalent sensor. Back to the review... Highly recommended tool. A good value and will last a lifetime.

This socket fit my GM O2 sensors perfectly.I did the upstream and down stream sensors. The upstream went great, no issues. The downstream was a bit tougher to get off and required a lot more pressure. This socket started to spread just a bit, because of the cutout to get over the wire, that allowed it to start to open up. I was able to get the O2 sensor out but it was stuck on socket. I needed to put the O2 sensor in a vice and use a ratchet to reverse it off. It snapped right back off and is no worse for the trouble.Worked great.

Another great product by Workpro. Great price, efficient packaging, and seems great quality. The socket appears to be made of the same metal used for impact sockets. Not sure what it's called but the chalky black metal on all your impact sockets.Obviously I don't recommend using an impact on an O2 sensor LOL you are just asking for something to go badly. I just appreciate that Workpro used a higher-caliber metal than necessary for this socket.Workpro is one of my favorite Amazon-brand tool companies and has slowly become my go-to for my DIT mechanic tool needs!

This oxygen sensor socket is well-built and designed for easy sensor removal and installation. Its offset design and wire gate provide good accessibility, making it a practical tool for working in tight spaces. Overall, it is a solid option for automotive repairs.
