As long as you keep these things clean and make sure they lay flat and even put something heavier on top so it dries flat after use, they will last a while. I've made a lot of paper and plan on making more. The wood doesn't seem treated so just keep in mind that taking care of it is crucial in making sure it lasts a long time. It does seem like it might splinter off little strings of wood after a while from all the water retention, but I haven't had any issues yet.

They work perfectly but I’ve already had to glue it back together which yes is normal for something going in water constantly but maybe a small nail would have done better then wood glue

Pretty great for getting started in the hobby, but my wife used these for about a week and they started getting water damage and the casing started falling apart. Like I said though, great for the price point, and awesome for getting started.

Great value for the money! Just do it. I am a long time paper maker and in my experience of buying and making my own screens, my recommendation is to go with the cheapest thing. The wood will always warp from being in the water. I’ve put these through several weekends of water wear and they’ve held up fine. I make paper about 6 times a year for several hours each time, I’ll probably need to replace this in a year or two.

It was my first time making paper and I love how it turned out! Used recycled toilet paper rolls and old mail. Blended the paper into a very fine pulp, added some flower petals, leaves and flower seeds. Super easy to use!
