The LUŽID brass step-up rings are the ideal alternative to aluminum step-up rings. They are well machined and are easily removed. The price is very reasonable. I own 10 of these step-up rings in various sizes.

There was visible pitting on the surface of the flat part of the ring, but I can leave with that. Stuck on my expensive polarizer on first try. Had very hard time removing since there was no side knurling on this ring. Kind of defeats the purpose of buying a brass ring if you can't remove it easily. Sending it back.

Solid brass makes me confident that the threads will hold up long term. The machining is done well and allows for smooth attaching to the lens and the filters.
