Please look at directions..my dumb a$$ returned one because I thought what looked like the key hole was the usb c connect for low batteries..the key hole is actually behind the logo secured by 2 screws .so I ordered a second one and returned the first...(apologies to the seller)Obviously figured it out second time around and was so pleased I ordered another oneI think good quality here for the money ..I reccomendðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

It fit perfectly between the studs and is solid as can be! Was having trouble with the door and having to use a knife to pry the door open each time after unlocking. Removed the bottom hinge screw and moved the washer to beneath the hinge, and now the door opens like it’s spring loaded. Simple fix. Great buy and am very happy with it. Great place to put my edc every day after getting home so the kid can’t get to it.

Update: Xdeer did a good job of making sure my issue was taken care of.I loved this safe. It's size makes it excellent for hiding it behind a frame. The convenience of using the fingerprint scanner or pin code is great. No need to dig out a key, then re-hide it whenever I want to open it. Unfortunately, the motor has now stopped working. When trying to use the keypad or the fingerprint reader, the pad lights turn white, as normal, but the safe won't open and the pad then turns red and beeps 5 times. I contacted XDeer through their website, but so far no response (4 days as of this review). If they respond and are able to solve my issue, I will change the rating to 5 stars. I really do like this safe, I hope I'm able to fix it.

Straight forward, easy to install and program fingerprint/access code. The ONLY thing I would like to have seen is rubber "mats' for the 2 shelves as well (comes with a 1 bottom mat)

Motor broke just out of warranty. Cheap chinesium and terrible customer service. Totally ghosted me so I will take my money elsewhere. Should have bought American in the first place

The biometric fingerprint scanner works! But will only store the fingerprints for 2 to 3 attempt’s within a few minutes. Then you have to delete the fingerprints and start over again. It doesn’t matter which finger or whose. Also the warranty is through a third party company. I don’t feel comfortable giving all my information, address especially, to a company not connected to the company I buy from, especially a safe! I still have not received a answer to my questions.

Easy to install, easy to open/unlock. Fingerprint works great- very responsive, including the keypad.
