I renovated my kitchen and quickly found out that installing wall cabinets by myself was no easy task. I looked for a solution and found the XINQIAO Third Hand Tool 3rd Hand Support System.The XINQIAO Third Hand Tool 3rd Hand Support System came in a cardboard storage box. It was a game-changer for installing those wall cabinets. All I had to do is have it handy, set near the desired length. I then lifted the wall cabinet and held it in place while my wife put the Third Hand Tool inside the cabinet, holding against the back edge of the top with the bottom of the pole on the floor out about 3 feet. In fact, with lighter cabinets I could hold the cabinet in place with one hand and insert the tool with the other. Once the Third Hand Tool was in place, I used the squeeze lever to raise the cabinet up the wall to its final height. This setup would hold the cabinet in place while I installed the mounting screws.My only complaint is that the release-lever to lower the support is an all-or-nothing action. For instance, if I activated the release lever to lower a cabinet a bit to make a final height adjustment, the Third Hand Tool would collapse the full length of the extension rod. It would be much better if you could lower the height in increments in the same way you can raise it.I have since then used the Third Hand Tool on several occasions where I needed to hold something in place while I made repairs.

I have looked into purchasing a set of these for a while and wish I had bought them sooner! I am a finish carpenter by trade but I also have a wide range of other random tasks I perform for my builder when needed. One of those is installing range hoods in the custom homes we build(attaching them to the upper cabinets ahead of the HVAC and electrician) In the past I would have to strain my back leaning over the lower range cabinet while fumbling with screws and driver. Nightmare. With these lifters I can safely lift and hold the hood in place and then fasten it without straining. This set is the perfect length for the standard range hood height if you already have your lowers or a stove to use for bracing to lift it into position. The quality is better than I would expect for the price. Highly recommend. I will update my review with pictures after the next install.

XINQIAO Support Pole, Steel Telescopic Quick Support Rod Adjustable 3rd Hand Support System - Short (green)This thing is so easy to use, and does a great job. I bought it to help with installing a keyboard tray on my desk, and it was perfect! It really held the track in place while I got the tray installed. I have since used it for many other things, it’s so handy.It is very sturdy and well-constructed, and I really like the ‘squeeze handle’ that lets you dial in exactly how tall you want it, as well as the ‘quick release’ tab to remove its pressure for removal. The ‘feet’ on both ends are nice solid, grooves, rubber with great traction. They pivot to a very high degree, so using it at angles works great. They even come with a set of bigger pads that you can install, if desired!I am very happy with the purchase. Its design is great, and materials and construction are really solid. Highly recommended.

We use these rods as structural support for our closet clothing rods. They have worked well. Very easy to use and very durable. Cost is reasonable and this is a recommended purchase.

Nice pieces, didn’t think they would be built so well for the price. Using as a permanent support for a 2 gallon air bleed tank that was hanging from plumbing in supported. The other one will be used around the ranch as a third arm if needed.

I'm not a professional, just a DIYer. Purchased these guys to help me put up crown molding - which I'm doing on my own. They are fantastic. I have 12' ceilings and they are just able to reach enough to hold the crown in place while I position and nail.They're already assembled and come with two types of pads. The pads are both made of rubber - one is a flat style, the other is ribbed to provide extra traction. (Michael Scott: That's what she said!)There are two extension methods: first, they telescope to double in size. There is a very strong twist clamp to hold the telescoped extension in place. Second, there is a handle to jack them up to the desired height.Best of all, unlike other helpers I've had in the past, these don't get tired or complain. :)Definitely worth the price!!Can't beat the price - def

The Support Rods were clearly listed and displayed as coming with a storage carry bag. The bag was not included and the support rods showed up in a very poorly packaged soft cardboard box. I would NOT recommend buying these as the product arrives in an unknown condition.Follow up. Returned the item at sellers request and ordered a new set. This were definitely new but that is where the good news ends. THE SUPPORT RODS ARE DANGEROUS. I was using them to support a 30 kitchen wall cabinet with no doors or shelves, so well within it's listed weight capacity, and the top "ratcheting" posts would not hold and began sliding allowing the cabinet to no longer be supported. So I repeat, THESE SUPPORT RODS ARE DANGEROUS.

It is very easy to use and is very sturdy. I bought 2 to support a metal roof in a metal shed by installing a cross bar and using these supports to hold the cross bar.

Got this to use as a slide-out lock to prevent the box from tilting out while driving. Better and cheaper than the actual slide locks out there and easier to use. Just one tip: put something on the slide box inside, like a big red sign, to remind you to remove it before opening the slide-out.
