Great product, lightweight, extremely sturdy, and stick to the tree once set. Fully trust these sticks to never fail me. Height without aider is around ~15 feet (with a two step aider 20’ no problem). Only complaint would be the buckle style straps, would recommend upgrading to rope mod style straps.

These sticks are everything they claim they are, having a step on both sides for exiting the tree stand in the dark is the safest way to go. The step distance is perfect for me at 5 foot 10 inches tall. The construction is solid, no creaks or squeaks when climbing and feel very solid on the tree. This is my first set of climbing steps, in the past used the full length sticks that were always a pain to get to your stand location along with a tree stand for setup, these are a much nicer option. With this option you can setup and hunt the same day. Way quieter then my Viper SS climbing trees stand and lighter. I recommend practicing putting them together at home in a dark room with a head lamp a few times to speed the process up for evening exits. Looking forward to trying out more XOP products in the future.

these climbing sticks are fantastic. Very light they gripped the tree incredibly and there’s plenty of room for big feet.

I have used these a couple of times now. They are super stable on the tree. The straps that come with these work but I prefer to not have metal and will swap them out with rope mods. Extremely easy to use and set up. I love the design of the steps that make it really easy to add aiders, straps, etc.

I bought these to replace my Hawk 30" sticks. I wanted shorter sticks and prefer a double step. I've only used these on a few hunts so far, but these are my initial impressions:Weight is as expected. Not too heavy, but not the lightest.Traction was not very confidence inspiring with wet boots. The Hawk steps have better grip. I'm also not in love with the convex shape in center of the step, I feel like the step would feel safer being more concave shaped. They felt a bit slippery with wet boots, but felt fine with dry boots. The stacking system is not my favorite, but better than the Hawk suction cups. Stacking the sticks on top of each other is my preferred method, albeit, difficult while leaving the straps on the sticks. I decided to pack all my straps in a pouch and retrieve them when getting to my stand instead of trying to leave the straps on each stick when packing. The fact that you can only pack these side-by-side in pairs, as opposed to all four like the single sticks is a bit annoying. Works perfect for packing on either side of a hang-on though. The standoffs are good, the steps don't feel too close to the tree, plenty of room for my size 10 boots. They grip better than the Hawk standoffs. As long as you get the cam straps level and tight, and the standoffs start out straight on the tree, I've not experienced any kick-out.The tube sounds like it's been deadened. They do "clang" when you're not being careful, but at least they don't sound like a steel bell like cheaper steel steps/sticks.Overall, good buy. If the steps were a better design I'd give 5 stars.

These sticks work very well the first time I used them. The design of them and the material used to make them is great. They stick the tree very well with no slipping once tight. I’ve used them on a couple of different trees (pine and oak) and they work great. The straps are little long but manageable. I recommend theses to all saddle hunters.

My wife bought me these for Christmas. There are lighter ones, but 4 of these are less than 2 of those in cost. I'm upgrading from Hawk Heliums, so the fixed steps and standoff distance are a big plus. I wrapped them in camoform and traded the straps for an Amsteel daisy chain (truckers hitch). They are mostly quiet and very solid. Also, using the slide lock (not side lock) stacking kept them from making any noise while packing in. I saved about 4 lbs in weight from the Hawks. I recommend these if the description fits what your wants/needs.

Super easy to hang up and worth the money. I got a second pair once I saw how easy and convenient they are to setup and move around.
