I received this product 3 days ago and let me tell you this, I was really amazed with this product from A to Z.Easy to install, easy to setup using the X-Sense app, and the great functionality of the base and the smoke detectors.I've tested one of the smoke detectors by applying a cigarette smoke and the sensitivity was very High with a fast interaction with the base, the other two smoke detectors and the app on my phone.This system will notify you on your phone through the X-Sense app while you are away from your home or business.It's really a peace of mind.So, I highly recommend this system for those who are looking for a high level of safety and protection for their loved ones and their properties.I will write an update in the future during using this system.

Great product. I wanted a combination smoke and CO detector. I wanted a smart and interconnected system as we have vaulted ceilings so replacing a chirping battery is a major event. I looked at Kidde and First Alert products and their reviews were mediocre at best with consistent complaints about false alarms. X-sense seemed to fit the bill but I was a little concerned about the made in China quality and lack of UL certification. I bought a set and ran my own test to ensure the sensitivity, time to alarm and inter-connectivity all worked. Physical build quality is top notch. Solid devices. Very low profile. The LED readout is of minimal value to me given the height of installation. Unless the device is eye level, I can’t see it being useful for anyone. I tested both smoke and CO sensitivity and all worked as listed in their docs. The networking capability was very easy to setup and also worked as listed. The app is well laid out and works great. Silencing ALL alarms from the app worked like a charm (without needing to get a ladder and push a button). The app also indicates the network and battery status of each device. I’ve had them installed for almost 6 weeks now and haven’t had a single false alarm.

The app, hub and devices work together very easily. The app is very intuitive and clear. This was easy to install, and the hardware looks nice. Since purchasing, I have expanded my linked system. This is a good alternative to the Nest-Detect smoke detectors. Nest seems to have abandoned the smoke detection & safety products with no innovations for many years. On the other hand, X-Sense appears to be expanding and adding new products. My only comment is that the product labeling is not always clear as some wi-fi based products require the hub and others do not. One needs to dig through the product description to find this information.

Good smoke/co detectors. I'm not sure why they need the digital readout on the face of them but that's my only complaint. The Wi-Fi communication setup was pretty easy.

This review is from the jaded perspective of a former Nest customer. These smoke/CO detectors are everything that nest promised to be but wasn't.To start with, they were recently manufactured (just a couple months before our order.) This provides the greatest possible lifespan of the installed product before the sensors fail.The units themselves are smaller than other similar products and nicely slim. They use a fairly standard cr123 battery. This is an outstanding feature compared to the Nest which uses SIX of the most expensive AA batteries on the market and complains needlessly about using any other brand.The directions are comprehensive and clear. Physical installation is easy. Three screws in a triangular formation and a hexagonal grid on the base plate help with positioning so that they face how you want.Even better, the app setup for these units is so ridiculously simple that you can do a whole house worth in just a few moments! Just pull the battery film, hit add on the app, press the connect button on the unit and you're done!The interconnection works great! Unfortunately we learned this on a false alarm, but that was our fault. We got hit with a cold snap overnight and still had the air on cooling so the front room got way colder than usual and a morning shower spiked the humidity and triggered a false alarm. The detector did notice in less than a minute that there was not actually any smoke but we still had to cancel the alarm. We switched over to running the heater now that fall is here and haven't had a problem since! These units have great volume and are very clear about what's going on.I did hit up their support by email, (I was inquiring if they were going to start producing security cameras and video doorbells again like they used to - "maybe" is the paraphrased answer,) and they were prompt and courteous with their reply.These units are an all around great product. They're definitely a go-to option if you're trying to escape the nightmare hassle and expense of Nest products!

The system definitely works, as I found out while cooking. It alerts through out the whole house announcing the issue using an alert sound and voice. It is definitely loud. The only thing is it takes a little bit of navigating to silence the “false†alarm. Not a lot, but with the loud alarm I wish it was a bit simpler. It would also be nice if the system integrated to Apple HomeKit or Matter.
