First Impression: Very nice pump case and controller enclosure. The display panel is logical and easy to program. The product manual is of good quality with color illustrations and very easy to understand. Very quiet operation at all speeds. It is running at factory program settings with exception of adding time to speed 4 for 24/7 operation in a salt pool through the Winter, (Much better result than shutting down). This is the 3rd variable speed pool pump that I have owned and installed and so far my favorite. Lets hope I can say the same for many years to come. Note: 30 day return but no manufactures warranty. I purchased the ASURION 4 Year protection plan.

I have only had the pump installed and running for two months and it seemed to be running great until i walked out to a whining/ screeching. Upon checking the pump it was not only making noises it was leaking water. I turned the pump off so it didn’t catch fire. From the noise and the leak I would have to say the bearings on the pump went and the seal is shot from the heat. I have contacted the seller and they have told me that it is out of the return or refund time so I should contact the company I got the extended warranty from. Problem is if you read the warranty it states that it kicks in only after the manufactures 1yr warranty is up. After all this I read other reviews that say they have had the same issue. I really hope everyone reads this and the other reviews. This company has left me with a mess of a pool and out $700 plus dollars. I really Hope Amazon holds this seller to the manufacture warranty and stops them from selling this product. It’s beyond frustrating and has caused a ton of stress. Do not purchase this pump if you want to sleep at night. Thank god I was home to catch this before it caused a fire and possibly burned down our house and the neighbors.

Love the pump but the fact that it has multiple speeds, it is hard to program. I still highly recommend it.

I would have to say this is a very well priced high quality VS pool pump. It has a built in timer (digital) which took a bit to figure out with the 4 serial timers but once you doo it works great. Pump is quite quiet for is size and isn't bad on Electric consumption as long as your not running it at full speed all day.I would recommend or purchase this product.
