I screwed the two drawers into the bottom of my desk, so I can't really attest to the tape. They're made of hard plastic, but are not flimsy whatsoever. They seem very sturdy and strong.I pre-drilled for the screws to prevent any cracking of my desk. So far they work perfectly and are barely noticable. They're deep enough to store controllers and headsets. I also use one to house the audio controls so they're out of the way and I have a more minimalist appearance of my desk.Overall they're a great addition to any desk and I highly recommend.

These were super easy to install and they just work. I put one on each side of my computer desk but off to the side for extra headphones and controllers

I absolutely love the YaGee Under Desk Storage Shelves! I was on the hunt for an under cabinet shelf for the kitchen to help clear the countertop that was always littered with charging devices. Between 3 phones, 2 kindles, rechargeable lights that we use every night on the back patio and other assorted items, the counter was unusable! YaGee Under Desk Storage Shelf to the rescue! These come in a pack of 2, which gives us more than enough storage to get all of our devices off of the counter and allowed us to mount one under 2 different cabinets, thereby allowing us to also have a convenient place to set our bluetooth speaker that we use when watching movies while we cook. We really appreciate the "Drawer" style of the shelves, allowing you to pull out the drawer style shelf to get to things in the back of the drawer, or to clean the drawer if necessary. AND...these are wonderfully sturdy and spacious, easily able to hold 2 phones, 2 kindles, both of our weighty travel power banks with room to spare! This is one of the best purchases that we have made lately!

These shelves are an extremely great addition to any desk or workbench. I did not need to use screws since it held up with the adhesive brackets. Just peel off the clear plastic and stick it to a clean and dry surface. Read instructions before applying. I bought two of these.

The directions were simple, all the hardware for mounting was there, the install was very easy. When I read that they were plastic I was nervous...but after installing them, I am proud to say I was wrong. These are great little drawers!

The good - it molded well and does what it's forThe bad - the adhesive is trash. It will easily fail at weights around half a pound. used it to house my presonus revaltor interface and it fell the night of the installation.Use the screws to secure it in place and you'll be fine. It'd be nice to have more of the stopper pegs since one flew off into the ether; better yet if the design was updated to not need separate stopped pegs to improve build quality and have less parts.

I totally expected to need to screw it in as my past experience with adhesive to hold things under desks has been pretty bad but this adhesive seems to actually hold up very well! If it ever fails I can always go back to trusted screws but it's holding up pretty well:DThe one note I would like to leave is that the drawers are quite tall, so depending on desk/chair height you should be careful to make sure there's enough space left for your legs under the desk. Just wanted to leave this note here so you measure it before committing to a location.The drawers also have a little textured patch to the front which is a nice touch for me since I use one of them to hold ny audio interface - unless I yank a cable out of forcefully it should be enough to keep it from slipping out. Honestly these are quite perfect for me - can recommend!
