I recently bought a 1.2 inch heavy duty impact to deal with the lug nuts on my car, but I also needed to drill something for a little project I had going on. I didn't feel like buying a whole separate weaker drill driver, so I chose instead to buy this adapter and some titanium drill bits.Turned out to be a great choice. This adapter (comes with 2 of them) is very high quality, has the locking metal with the o-ring and indentation to keep it from coming off the impact. I was able to use it with the 1.4 inch drill bit I needed, and it worked flawlessly.If you have an impact with a 1.2 inch connector, you got to get one of these. That way, you won't need a smaller impact either, saving you money and making tasks easier. Highly recommend.

It fits my 1/2" cordless Milwaukee M18 impact wrench nicely. It has a good grip to hold the screwdriver attachments. Save me a lot of money from buying another impact driver. When used with Milwaukee M18 impact wrench (1400 ft. lb torque), it drove the screws through 4x4'' wood stud very quickly like butter. I've been looking for this adapter for a while, but finally found it on Amazon after doing some searching. The quick release made it very easy to swap between the screwdriver bits, drill bits with hex shank, or socket adapter. This is a-must-have adapter if you plan to work on cars or wood works around the house. The material felt very sturdy. I would highly recommend it.

Works almost too good! Has lasted threw an entire framing project for a shed. Converted my 1/2 impact to a 1/2 bit driver, works better to drive screws into hard wood.

Price is hard to beat. Bits fit nicely, and the collar actuates quite easily. The fit to my Dewalt driver was a little sloppy, but it was functional.Unfortunately, the collar jammed the second time I used it. it survived less the 20 screws total. The 1/4 bit (Dewalt square drive, with flex section) is now permanently jammed in the adaptor. The collar appear to have come out of alignment. Maybe I will have better luck with the 2nd unit. The cost/hassle of returning is probably not justified.ADDITION: The second unit jammed after one day of use, working on a deck. I now have to adaptors with bits jammed in them. I recommend walking away from this product. Two for two jams is not a coincidence. This product is not worth the $10 I invested in it.Final addition: Seller backed the product well. They made an offer to replace the parts or full refund. I chose to go for a refund, since I had already replaced it with a different model. So, I cannot say for sure if this was a bad lot of parts, or characteristic of this product.

It does what its supposed to, but the bit holder is a bit finnicky. It doesn't always grab the bit properly, but with a bit of wiggling it will eventually get in there. Other than that it feels relatively sturdy and has held up to some mild abuse.

Pin and o-ring holds the adapter in place well. Works Ok - not as good as having an actual impact driver.

Bought this for my impact drill. The extension I put on it is jammed on and unable to be removed after first use.
