Decent for the price. Easy to use and simple to set up. I bought this to cake my yarn so that it was easier to use with my knitting machines. It definitely does that. Product says it can cake up to a 3.5 ounce hank of yarn, though if tensioned tightly by pinching the yarn at the eyelet for the guide I wasxable to cake a four ounce skein without issue. I will probably be attempting to extend the bobbin a bit with a tight fitting pvc tube and the yarn guide with a piece of twisted coat hanger in an attempt to cake a larger skein. Will post an update and photo when I figure it out.

only complaint is that the metal prove where you place the yarn is super tighter so the yarn gets stuck often but other than that worked great for me but it is cheap so if you don’t mind medium quality it’s a good purchase

I've tried again and again to use this winder, but it consistently fails. The clamp does not stay reliably in place, and the tension rod consistently falls while attempting to wind yarn, resulting in loose and unusable yarn balls that I end up having ro rewind by hand.

I might be a little obsessed with winding the yarn. There were a couple of things that were an issue. The yarn threader would not stay in place. However my clever husband added a dowel as you can see in the pic and it solved the problem. Also you need to attach it to a surface that doesn’t have a chalk finish or it will move while winding. Overall for the price I can deal with it ðŸ˜

Small, make sure you know what you're looking for. It's easy to use, but I was expecting something bigger. It works good, I wish it had a tension tool.

I honestly love how fast and easy it makes winding yarn! You just need a sturdy surface that you can clamp it on and you’re good to go! 10/10

Dachte beim auspacken, es wäre ein süßes kleines Spielzeug. Aber es funktioniert super und tut was es soll, für einen kleinen Preis.Einziges Manko, die Fadenführungsstange ist sehr instabil, habe ein kleines Stück Strohhalm dran angebracht. ( Das hatte ich hier in den Bewertungen gelesen, das es helfen soll und das tut es! )

Cheap but works however makes about 2 and a half cakes per 100 grams so not big
