It may be my sewing style, as I do a lot of embroidery, and am therefore moving the needle back and forth in small spaces, and with only one stand of embroidery floss from the skein of six; but the thread just keeps falling out.I've tried this for some of my longer hemming jobs, and it's not so bad, but you definitely have to be careful when using these needles with very thin strands of thread.

These are great...a needle fir everything. My eyes aren't what they used to be, so these are super handy, and easy to use. Love the case, can find in bottom of sewing kit and not get stabbed...lol Def. would recommend.

I saw these on World Dumbest Inventions and thought they were wrong about these. They weren't. Yes, you can easily thread the needle, but you can't sow with it at all. Every time you put the needle through the fabric the thread slips out of the needle hole, so that makes this a waste of time and money. When you see stuff on that show, believe them when they say it's dumb, cause this sure was.

Easy to thread. The only thing that I'm not pleased about is how easy they break at the eye... I broke 5 needles within a few minutes.Just to thin at the eye.Nice case...

It's my first time with self threading needles which is very fast and convenient. However, I also found that the thread "unthreaded" quickly. That inconvenience outweighs the convenience of self-threading.
