got this cause i am a art freak and i always wonted to get into pottery. i sculpt airbrush and so on. so this was a great add on to my art studio. i was shocked that this pottery works. i was expecting to have some cheap knockoff. but no. this is great and i love it. and if your looking for a pottery wheel that is not going to cost you your car. this is the way to go. got a good size wheel. the speed controller is a nice setup. if i had to complain about something on it hmmmm nothing atm i can complain about. this thing is just great. noob and pro level on this one.

Table works well. Speed control works as it should. Cleanup is pretty simple. Table isn't 100% without wobble, but it's as good as I would expect for a product like this.

Since I am new to wheel throwing, I did not need or want an expensive wheel, and this works perfect for me. I practice on the wheel, and it runs just as good as the wheels at my pottery class. The wheel is smooth. What I particularly like is the handled for regulating the speed. To be honest, I did not think I would use the handle, but 95% of the time that is all I use.For those who want or need the wheel higher, I purchased furniture raisers (also on Amazon), and they work beautifully and save my back.

Got this for my 12 year old and she has made some really cute things. It was way bigger than I expected it to be even knowing the dimensions, so that was nice!

Three years ago, I converted part of our garage into a pottery studio. I throw and glaze my pieces at home, but found a local pottery studio that will fire my pieces at a reasonable cost.I love this hobby so much that when I have family over, I like to set up multiple wheels in our backyard and have a clay throwing 'party'. Well - I'm not sharing my new pink one!It is what I consider to be a 'full size' wheel so you can throw large vessels with good results. The basin fits snugly around the wheel so no leaks.It arrived with good starter accessories and an apron. I have not practiced much yet with using the LCD screen but I could see where using this and then recording the actual speeds used would be helpful if you were throwing a collection of pots and wanted uniformity. Wheel works well both clockwise/counter clockwise.Hint to fellow potters: I use bed/furniture risers to lift my wheel up to a comfortable height - I get them on Amazon and they come in a variety of heights. They are hard molded plastic and give a sturdy lift to the wheel and are easy to move (on pretty days, I take my 4 risers and the wheel and set up under the trees with a long extension cord to my outlet - just very pleasant.) You can, of course, also work with this wheel on the floor/ground, but I find a little extra height to be helpful to my throwing.I am very happy with this Pink Pottery Wheel!

Is an okay unit. It’s quiet. Speed control foot peddle is awkward. The cord grommet arrived broken. And it comes with a small package of clay and a set of tools. This is the perfect unit for that little artist in your family.

I was pleased to find a wheel at this price that works well. I have gotten other inexpensive wheels and they were not up to handling the real force of throwing a pot. I have only thrown 5 lbs on it, but it has held up well to that amount. It is on the smaller side, perfect for mugs, cups and bowls. It is not large enough for a standard bat, so you wont be able to use those with it. It also came with a variety of tools which have been fun to use. It is on the smaller side so I haven't quite figured out the best physical set up. On the ground is to low when seated. End table while standing is too low. I will probably end up getting some concrete blocks to raise it up from the ground and use it seated. Overall this is a great buy.

I really liked this product at first, but after a month I noticed that I could never center my pieces right VS the studio I go to.With further inspection I saw that the wheel had a slight wobble and it made things impossible if I went for anything higher than a few inches.Packaging seemed sufficient, so unsure if it was damaged during delivery.
