I lost my previous 2 bias tape makers and needed to make 1/4 inch bias tape to applique on a quilt. This set has 5 sizes of bias tape makers, a stiletto tool, pins, and a nice storage case with a clear plastic lid.I really like this set! The bias tape makers have plastic on top and a metal slotted side on the bottom. I was able to use the stiletto in the slot to help slide the 5/8" fabric strip through the maker's point to get the tape started.The stiletto tool is also really handy at the sewing machine! It enable you to hold down fabric pieces relly close to the needle under the presser foot without accidentally sewing your finger. It has the added advantage of not piercing the fabric as a pin would, so it easily moves out of the way after holding the fabric in place for sewing.I've only used the stiletto tool, the 1/4" or 6mm bias tape making tool and the storage case so far, but I really like them! Maybe I'll actually do more applique now that I have this set.

These work great, but I have a hard time cutting the fabric at an angle and feeding it through, it never goes easily for me. I found that if I cut the end of the fabric in a triangle , it slides right on through. Of course the smaller ones still give you some problems, it is so much easier. If you have trouble feeding iy through or even if you don't, try doing it with the triangle end :) . I didn't measure anything, just cut some scrap fabric, to give everyone a sample of what I am talking about.

These are nice because you get a ton for the price, however the clips break easy. I've broken a couple jut by opening the clip. No crazy handling. The metal part holding the plastic parts of the clip also slips out and is a but hard to get back on. Besides that the clips are good. The bias tape makers are also good. They do what they're supposed to do.

The fact there’s no clear direction on how to use these, and I really don’t need them at all . I had a sewing ministry, now closed down, which is what I thought I needed them for. It’s probably too long to return them for a refund, because I have been dealing with health issues and not able to sit long to see. Ty

Soo far I’ve only used one size of the makers but it did help, however not as smooth as I had hoped. I think there is a slight learning curve. The mini clips are great and I love their bright colors. None have broken on me and they’re very tight.

I was excited to receive these to make the process of making bias tape easier. Unfortunately was disappointed as I found it difficult to achieve the appropriate folds. Will try again as I want them to work!

Haven’t tried it yet but the package came all smushed and opened.-Opened it, big old finger prints all over it and it’s all cut up :(

On first glance, everything appeared to be okay. Once I opened it up I found a broken clip and some tin foil. I also counted and I'm missing 2 clips (not including the broken clip). The bias strip makers have sharp metal edges so we'll see how these work.
