Good bit for rabbets. Sharp and cuts smoothly provided you don't try to cut too deeply. I suspect it will hold up well over time.

I'm pretty happy with this and it worked well for what I was using it for. I was using pine and it went through it well and still seemed pretty sharp from that. Not sure how long it will last if using a harder wood or a large project but I am happy with it for the price and would recommend for a small project.

You really get what you pay for with this one. I used this in my router table with 3/4 inch stain-grade maple plywood and it caused extremely bad tear out on the top veneer layer. The only way I could make it work was to make a score with my table saw before running it across the bit. I ended up just using my dado stack.I am going to buy a Freud next time I need one of these.

Used to cut a few 3/4" Dadoes, but I found it created too much tear out on the thin veneer of the maple plywood I am using for a cabinet project. I am not blaming the bit, since when I switched to a dadoe blade on my table saw I got less tearout. It is obviously poor quality plywwood. Tried using it on some MDF - works like a charm. Haven't tried it on solid hardwood yet, but I do not expect any problems.
