My brother is 6’2†and became paraplegic several months ago. We are not trained in finding the right resources to help us… no, no one sat down and said, here is a list of things you need and “whyâ€. I have been overwhelmed on how to help him so if you are just now trying to help your family member who has become a paraplegic- READ THIS.Notice my brothers height (6’2†and could be taller- I haven’t needed to know this information). We needed him to have a wheelchair that was adjustable (19.5†from ground to floor) AND A GOOD thick cushion. Because beds, household chairs, electric scooters, and car seats all vary, you want the incline to be minimal for transfer. Remember- they can’t use their legs.We ended up buying another wheelchair and a second cushion to have on both floors of house.This cushion is PERFECT. It is firm, curved towards the front, soft with gel interior feel, with cushion cover that can be removed and laundered.

I waited a couple months before I wrote this review to see how the cushion held up.It has not lost its shape unlike many others I’ve had in the past. It’s as thick as it was on day one and very firm. This is a very firm cushion. Not to mention that it is 4†thick so you will sit up higher in your chair.If you want squishy this cushion is not for you. I do wish it had a little more softness to it but my backside isn’t sore from sitting all day.I drive a truck for a living.

He slips off the curve of the front of the YOUFI Extra Thick Large Seat Cushion the way it supposed to go. I turned it back to front and it works very well. He needs the height to make it easier to get out of his chair but he wants even more height than this 4†cushion provides so it’s back to shopping I go 🤷ðŸ»â€â™€ï¸. Though we are definitely keeping this good cushion. I have wrapped it in a 13 gallon plastic tall kitchen trash bag to keep it clean. The cover washed and dried well, one time so far, and went back on over the bagged cushion easily enough. It’s very supportive and firm. I recommend it except for turning it around to be safer.

My husband sits all day in his wheelchair and he just said that this is the best cushion ever! It’s made very nice. The cushion does not deflate when sitting on and provides great support. Keeps hips and legs elevated evenly too. Added height makes getting out of wheelchair easier. Stays in place and does not slide when moving around or getting up. Fits great on the 18x18 seat. I highly recommend this cushion.

I did some searching before finding this cushion. My goal was to find a wide cushion that would cover the entire seat of my office chair. My previous one (as are so many), was significantly narrower than the original chair seat (which was uncomfortable and several years old).I'm very pleased with the cushion. It covers the entire chair seat, front to back & side to side. This offers total equal support across the entire chair seat. It eliminates sitting off center and irritating my back.I've very pleased with this purchase.

A bit disappointed as this collapses under my weight. Would take two of them to give 4†of support of which I need to help me get up from standard chairs due to bad knees. Really needed the full 4â€.Does appear well made and quality cushion .. just not height of 4†as in description, when sitting on it

This cushion is excellent. I will be having hip replacement very soon. Sitting is the best position at this point. But a regular chair or even a recliner doesn't provide sufficient support and comfort. This cushion does. I tried several, but this one is the only one providing comfort. It seems very heavy and really thick (4 inches) and once you sit down it seems really high, but as soon as you sit on it you it feels as if you are melting, while it slowly encapsulating your buttocks and hip in soft but yet firm comfort. The cushion supports and relieves much of the pain. In addition, it cools while sitting on it. Excellent, highly recommended. Worth every penny.

Question where this is memory foam or super firm poly cushion. It was so hard, my butt didn’t even leave an impression. There was zero indentation recovery as one would expect from memory foam. Essentially, it was a 4 inch thick brick. The larger size was selected for a wheelchair pad - the only good aspect of this product. I WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN.

I’m 86 years old I got sick of sitting on hard chairs and benches. This cushion is just the answer. I will be taking it to many places I go, with a lanyard on the handle to keep from leaving it behind. It’s very comfortable.
