I thought that this part would show up as a non-apple part or something but it works great and easily enough I replaced it myself after getting water into my original charging port (this was done on a 2020 MacBook Air m1-A337 ) def recommend if you have the same issue as me

I almost had to consider replacing my MacBook Air when I lost one of the two Thunderbolt ports. A simple and cheap replacement made it work like new again!

It was not too hard to swap out. Works like a charm. The only thing I noticed is the mac does not see it as the original part and ask to allow it to be used after each reboot. Not a show stopper just something to be aware of.

The product came faulty. Not sure what the direct issue would be besides the fact that is not working and we troubleshot all possible issues (my partner works in IT and previously worked at apple so he knows what hes doing, it is not a user error)
