This is an excellent piece of equipment. You can tell it was designed with safey, as well as function, in mind. I would recommend this to anyone with kids and a zipline.

Works good, breaks well, easy to install and use, but derails on way back up, requiring you to reach up and unhook at times

Boy, was our crew excited to get in on the ground level with Safer Zip! We've been using our Sport Zipliner, Backyard Zipliner, and Zipline Seat for over a year now and are pleased to offer our review of each. Neighbors, family, and friends alike all love the new addition to our homestead. (Our products were purchased via eBay, though I see they're now available at both SaferZip dot com and Amazon.)First, the product is simply revolutionary. Though relative neophytes to ziplining, our family's first zipline is a 225ft. run through our property's woods. I shopped near and far for the right combination of performance, safety, and ingenuity in a zipline trolley and nothing out there offers the combination that Safer Zip's line of products does. Alternatives were either toy-ish (would you send your kid careening down a zipline 25ft. in the air secured by a combination of flimsy metal and plastic bits?), overly expensive (+$500 - no thanks!), or contained consumable (and thus costly) replacement brake pads.Though (at least at the time) our finished products still have indications of being homemade versus mass-manufactured by robots abroad (a rough edge here or there/a little unevenness in the paint finish), they're structurally and functionally flawless (and that's without mentioning the full warranty on each and every product that they sell).Safer Zip's braking system uses simply physics applied to the zipline cable to smoothly and safely slow or bring the trolley to a stop. I'm pleased to report that after a year's use and hundreds (thousands?) of trips down the line, our 3/8" cable is no worse for the wear. Whether +300lb. adults or 25lb. kids (or anything in-between), with Safer Zip, the experience is both fun and accessible to all.Speaking of the lightweights (kids!), the Zipline Seat has been a godsend. The security and confidence of a solidly affixed clip between the child's legs alongside the simple "backpack style" plastic clip attached around their waste provides the right combination of easy loading/unloading and safety for the ride. (Regardless, always have all riders wear a helmet!)The handlebars on both the Sport Zipliner and Backyard Zipliner not only deploy the brakes in an easy to understand and intuitive fashion (push out to fly and pull back to brake), but they also solve one of the most frustrating problems of the traditional zipline experience - facing forwards! Instead of dizzily spinning like a top on your ride down the line, you can now face forward or comfortably look where you want (!) instead of where the ride may dictate.Dealing with Safer Zip's founder and team is a snapshot of the American dream. As a passionate zipline enthusiast himself, he identified a problem, tinkered until he conceived a solution, crafted endless prototypes in his own garage, and proved the concept on his own ziplines. Not only was Safer Zip kind enough to customize our paint scheme for the sporty look we had in mind, they were also willing to provide expert consultation as we purchased and installed our zipline with a number of purchases from vendors having nothing to do with their firm. They helped us out simply for the love of the ride!I'm happy to field any questions about these products offered as a comment to this review but would encourage you to visit the Safer Zip website and contact their team to receive the same excellent service that we did. Happy zipping!

From looking at the photos of the product, I assumed a chair and straps were included, hence a zipline trolley... Was disappointed that only the hanging bracket was included. Perhaps my understanding of what a zipline trolley is lacking. It seems well made but a lot of money for just a bracket not a complete operational trolley for a kid.
