Absolute garbage. The materials are cheap and flimsy, and the device jammed up and stopped working entirely before the first roll of tape was even used up. The labels don’t stick very well either. Don’t buy this, it’s cheap garbage.

I was a little disappointed when I received this and found the the tape that it embosses is MUCH thinner than the old stuff we used as kids (up until the 90's probably). We've still got to see how the adhesive works. I can only assume it may be better than our old stuff because the tape is thin and flexible.The embossing is "fine" but not nearly as prominent as the old thick stuff. I will be ordering more rolls of tape when these run out, but I am still going to look for the beefier old school kind.

Got this and it works great. But all of my labels have started coming off and they’ve only been on for a few days. Might switch label brands and see if that helps. But the embossed letters/numbers look good!

I'm 64 and I played with these when I was a kid. This was one of the small gifts to go along with a bigger, more costly gift for my grandkids. I could have saved some cash and just gave them this alone, as they played with these for hours. I had no idea that something that I loved as a kid would still be so interesting to them. Such a great gift.

The letters are not clear and not in line. Really, who did, or even did anybody test this item before it went into production?? It does however work. No match for the one I used for a decade before it got lost. (during moving) Phil

I used this to make labels for my cleaning bottles. They look great, it Works well and was easy to use. The labels were pretty sticky too so I’m sure they’ll stay where I put them.

For the price it’s ok I just found you had to press down hard and you have to put in one letter then click to capture it. I found it hard, if you have to do a lot your wrist hurts after a while
