Fixes bias current for fast flashing LEDs to make them slow down. I installed LED tail lights and front turn signal lights and the car's thermal-mechanical flasher unit didn't work right with the low current LED bulbs. These bias resistors add another ~2 amperes of current to each LED turn signal flasher bulbs. Worked great, slow and reasonable again. Make sure to install them across the flashing section of the bulb, not the parking light. You can follow the wire from the socket to the connector and find the right hot flasher wire. The black wire is usually ground for the other wire. The color of the flasher wire may vary between bulb locations on the car, that tricked me, so make sure you follow down and check each wire for the right hot flasher section.

I received my LED Load Resistors within two days. The hardest part was trying to figure out which of the three wire to use on the front turn signals. I went to the local automotive parts store and purchased a light detector that looks like a screwdriver with a light inside the handle and a wire coming out the top with an alligator clip to determine which wire was hot when the turn signal was turned on. The install only took 20 minutes with everything that was supplied with the load resistors. This time included placing load resistors on the rear turn signals also which only had two wires. With the load resistor installed the hyper flashing stopped and now the turn signals operate like normal. I am very satisfied with the LED Load Resistors.

The placement of the resistor was challenged due to length of wire that needed to be connected and the need for a metal surface to secure the resistor. When exploring options to secure it, I came across some contact glue that could work up to 500 degrees but this product had no info with it to say what temps the resistor could reach. Overall, the product worked for my issue (rapid flash).

Bought to eliminate hyper flash on my turn signals. Work great!

These do work for blinkers just fine. But with taillights they tend to get hot enough to melt plastic and paint. So get ceramic enclosed resistors for anything that's constantly on. The cheap plastic clips didn't work very well but I didkt expect them to. I just used crimp tubes and they worked fine.

I bought these to use as tiny heaters, which is what resistors are.The 8 pieces ranged from 6.5-6.7 Ohms, so within acceptable tolerances. With aluminum heat sinks, they are just what I needed. They appear to be potted, but I would not use them directly exposed to rain, as there are no specs for water resistance rating.Didn't use for automotive lights, so no idea how they work in that application.

I got exactly what was described. Work as they should and were described on the site. Really good value. My truck happens to have a 2 wire system. Since I could not tell which wire was "hot" and which one was neutral or ground I had a 50/50 chance to get it right the first time. I got it right the first time and connected all 4 load resistors with no issue. The hyper flashing is gone!!!

Works like a charm. I changed My stock indicators and mirrors on my HD nightrod with integrated LED indicators/mirror was getting TSSM red key fob light. Installed the resistors and it works excellent. No hyper-blinking no TSSM light. Easy to install. A quick fix.
