THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED WHEN HAVING LONG TANKS. I REPLACE THESE BULBS EVERY YEAR EVEN IF THEY ARE STILL LIGHTING. GIVES YOUR REPTILE THE UVB THAT PREVENTS MBD. THESE ARE NEEDED FOR THE ABOVE MENTIONED TANK SIZE SO YOUR REPTILE CAN ABSORB UVB WHEREVER IN THE TANK HE OR SHE IS. THESE ARE THE BEST. DONT GO WITH ANYTHING ELSE.

I love that this size is available here unlike in stores and as to the ones saying they only last 6 months your uvb is supposed to be changed every 6 months anyways……..great uvb output and I haven’t had a problem yet with these bulbs

Both bulbs are bad. Only the ends light up. It is not my light fixtures, both are new and working. I was just trying to replace the bulbs every 6 months are recommended. Just the ends of the bulbs light, the middle stays a dull, milky white.

I use the T5ho 10.0 for my beardies and uromastyx . It is good for 1 year. This and the Arcadia are the only brands I use.

Set this up in my tegu enclosure. Provides a nice, bright light. My tegu happily parades across her enclosure into the light then in the shade, then back again. The length fills the enclosure nicely but still allows some shade.

I’d give it no stars but that’s not an option. Both bulbs burnt out in less than 3 months. This brand always does. I have no choice but to buy it or my critter dies. What a gimmick. This company blows.
