Perfect for a Ford Ranger back window. I only used one to get the window back in. Definitely put on cold and let it sit out in the sun for an hour plus. This will help everything stick together with no leaks. Since it's thick you want it warm when you install a window so it can smash it all down. Perfect stuff! Great value!

I used this to reseal the back window of my 97 F250. It worked fine and everything is sealed up. Make sure to THOROUGHLY clean up the seal channel while the window is out. Also break of short ~1" pieces to make little 'o-rings' for each fastener and pin hole.

I use this to reseal my windows on the camper The old tape was dried and cracked and letting water into the wood of the camper. Fortunately I saw it before it rotted out any of the wood. This tape is a much better quality than the original and sticks to the aluminum window for installation and then squeezes down as you install to make a water tight seal. This should last for years highly recommend for this installation.

We got this for a special purpose to stabilize shelves. It's good quality, and because it's under low-stress and exposure where we've put it, we expect it to last "forever." Glad we got it.

Used this for gable end seals on a metal roof, worked great. Pliable, thicker and and stickier than standard 1/8 roof butyl (but doesn't stick to your hands) - liked the black colour with our blue tin. Had to use less silicone with this as it filled gaps better than the standard butyl. Wish i had used it on the whole roof instead of just ordering it when I ran out of the regular thin stuff! Found cutting it with scissors worked better than a razor knife, which wants to 'stretch' it.

I used this sealant to install a sliding rear window on a 2010 FORD F150. This sealant is pliable and is easy to work with at lower temperatures. 10 to 20 degrees Celsius or 50 to 68 degrees Fahrenheit. If this Butyl becomes too warm it becomes very sticky, gooey and difficult to place it where you want it to be. Leave the paper strip on the sealant and gradually uncoil the bead along the window channel. You will need to cut the paper at any tight corners. Use a light touch to gently place the material all the way around the window frame perimeter. When you get back to your starting point, cut the Butyl with a sharp utility knife or scissors. At this point the remaining paper strip can be removed. Carefully position the window in the truck cab making sure that mounting studs-(there are 14 of these studs)-align with holes in the sheet metal. Lightly press the window against cab. Go inside the truck and install the nuts on the mounting studs. The nuts are usually a 9-millimeter, and the torque spec is 35 Inch pounds. Tighten these nuts slowly one by one in sequence around the window. Go around the window frame 3 or 4 times to gradually pull the window frame against the cab. Let the sealant set overnight if you can and then run water over the window and check for leaks.
