It so hard to find tape that works. I found this tape does work and is strong and really sticky.

Best thing is it’s white and blends in with my RV’s color. Easy to apply in warm weather and totally water proof. Sticks on any surface easily. I like that it can be peaked off if necessary.

We use XFasten Butyl tape in all of our roof repair and exterior sealing needs,We always use in on any fasteners going into stucco or woodwork. The moisture seal it provides is excellent!

I got this to put new vents on my cargo trailer.I normally use the grey stuff, but for some reason decided to try this.It sticks to EVERYTHING! Make sure you know where you want it first, and if it touches itself, it's not coming apart.Great stuff but beware the severity at which this will stick to everything.Best way to separate it from the roll is to give it a quick pull and most of the time it will snap clean, or it will stretch into a thin line that you will need help if it gets into your arm hair. Don't ask.It does however clean up very well with acetone.

Disliked having to buy 30 feet when I only need 56 inches to install a 14" square roof vent.RV store sold a "vent installation kit" with 20 inches of tape. Really? Would have to buy two. This was cheaper.Good tape, but over-packaged. Probably paid extra for the fancy box.

I am a retired professional auto glass installer and have done hundreds of installations of sunroofs and side windows. This product is exactly the correct one for these installations. The white color is great for RV uses as some of it will eventually ooze out and does not show up as bad as black. It can be easily trimmed afterwards and will not leak.

The stripes were inconsistent in there width and thickness, so it was hard to make a consistent bead but it will probably seal okay
