I purchased this winter coat for my 10 year old daughter whom I couldn’t find a heavier warm winter coat in local stores by me, this coat is thick and insulated, and I ordered the size 14-16 so it was roomy for when she wears her big sweatshirts underneath. She likes the removable zippered fur attachment, which she wanted to remove when wearing it to school. At least it’s an option. There were very color options which is nice to have. So far she’s very happy with it, and it was for a reasonable price. Quality seems pretty decent, hopefully this coat will also last into next winter as well.

My 11year old Daughter LOVES this coat! She is 4' 10" tall and 78 pounds, so a little on the thin side. This coat fits a little big both width and length, however, not so big it looks too bad and she appreciates the room for a sweatshirt or sweater. We had temps in the low twenties here and she said she was so warm. She was never a kid who enjoyed playing in the snow bc she was always cold no matter the layers which she didnt like bc she said she couldnt move around well and with this coat she stayed out for hours playing in the snow. She also said recess at school was so much nicer bc the sleeves dont allow any air in and she can tuck her hands inside the sleeves if needed, the coat is just so warm and soft.I am definitely impressed and truly appreciate the price for this quality coat. I bought another one in a 10/12 too for her little sister who is 4' 6" and 9 yrs old and she weighs 90 pounds and it fits good not as much room as her sister in the arms and width, but still okay with a sweater underneath and the length is a little long covering completely her butt, however, she again prefers this coat over the others ie; North Face and Columbia which in my opinion this is better insulated and just all around warmer.
