Makes it easier to hold while, in my case, gives it more weight to use with my weebill s gimbal. Love the ability to have easy access to the battery compartment. Highly recommend

I had a UURig bottom plate on my G7X III before I sold it for the ZV-1. I was happy with it so I decided to check this out for the ZV-1. I am pretty happy overall. It feels solid and has good quality. I like the firm rubber texture on the grip. It adds a bit of weight to the camera which will help me steady some shots when hand holding. It also adds some protection form minor bumps. The grip does not block any of the ports which is great. The ONLY thing I was not impressed with is the quality of the 1/4 inch screw on the base plate. It uses a phillips head instead of an hex key, and the screw metal is pretty soft. They may end up changing this on future units but mine being one of the first could have been better.Overall I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a base plate/grip.

Very nice material, feels strong and the aluminum feels nice in the hand. It has many holes on the bottom for mounting and allows access to battery and sd card while attached to something like a tripod

It's a great little camera, but for my big hands I never felt quite comfortable holding the camera. This grip gives me a lot more to hold on, while still being able to access everything on the camera. It adds some weight to the camera, it's worth it for me.

I got this casing for the grip and also so I can attach it vertically to a tripod to get vertical shoots. I also like how the battery compartment and other outlets are accessible with the casing on. This casing is held together by screws and is a perfect fit for my Sony ZV1. It doesn't rattle in the case if you properly secure the screws.

Makes it easier to hold and gives more mounting options. The extra weight is good for holding, but check your boom mount, etc to make sure it's not an issue.

This is a great option if you don't need/want a full cage. Really well built. Adds a nice bit of weight to the camera, and it gives you access to the camera's battery and memory card without having to remove your tripod plate. The handle isn't huge, but it is more comfortable to hold than the ZV-1's grip.

Me encanto este accesorio, da una mejor manejabilidad al la cámara y aporta protección.Uno de los punto s débiles de esta cámara(Sony ZV1) es que si le pones una zapata para tripie no puedes sacar la pila, pero con este accesorio aparte de aportar comodidad y seguridad, resuelve dicho problema.La recomiendo 100%.Lo materiales se sienten de calidad!

This is a geat add on to the Sony ZV-1. Gives extra grip and allows the battery door to be opened while mounted on the Sony bluetooth grip.
