I did some pretty aggressive sanding with 150 grit 3m mesh type disc, then to 180 then to 220. I ran it fairly hard for nearly 2 hours and I could not see any change in the pad. This was on some shaping and finish on small odd shaped handles with lots of rounded areas, coves, etc. I have since used it but not as aggressive for about 1 hour total. It seems to hold up much better than I expected, as it looks like I ordered more than I needed. I did try it with a paper type disc and it seems to have enough flex to work as well, but I used it on gentle curves with 320 grit. BTW the 3m product allows for some very aggressive sanding, ideal for this pad.

I absolutely 100% recommend these. I refinish furniture and these have made tight small spaces easier. It allows for a lighter touch when sanding. Excellent for sanding veneers.

I ordered these to use on a table i'm making and so far these interface pads are doing a fine job. these pads use a hook and loop system that all (atleast i think all) orbital sanders utilize. these pads help distribute the pressure which provides a lot more forgiveness when doing woodworking projects so you dont damage your nice flat surface. overall these pads work pretty well al last quite a while. Im on my second pad already but it seems to last almost as long as the namebrands. Good buy for any DIYer out there.

Adheres to sanders pad and keeps the paper on tight. Great for Sanding rounded edges and turning my ROS into a sponge sander.

does what it is supposed to do. Great price. Not sure of their longevity but I am pleased and have reasonable expectations on lifespan.

This will start coming off the sander after a while. The sanding paper was still good, but the sponge started flying off the orbital so I had to use a new one to finish the area. It also was not really that soft. I was hoping for something really soft and squishy, like a surfprep sponge. It was better than just the sander alone, but it did not really adjust to the contours of the piece like I was hoping it would.
