I've used 3 other types of Butyl Joist Tape and I really prefer this brand for the way it sticks/seals. Yes it extremely sticky! It's easy to install and goes down smoothly. I feel it will do a much better job of sealing around the screws that hold the deck boards in place. I'll be purchasing it again.

Used this to cover the four 2x10 plates on the front of our deck. No water is getting thru this tape. Very good stuff. Easy to use since it sticks so good to the wood.

I've used three different brands of deck joist tape and this one is by far the best. Lays nicely, adheres really good, and when you fold over the edges it adheres really good and doesn't fold back up.Backing easily removes versus other brand I tried.

Used this in some hard to reach areas I wanted to flash. Easy to work with, just don’t let it stick to itself. Nice width.
