Beware. The cord is smaller gauge than expected, and when I unpacked I found out why. There is a tag on the cord stating it is rated at 30 amps, but only for 50 feet. For 100 feet, the rated capacity is only 25 amps. Basically the advertising is misleading because the cord I purchased is 100 feet, so it's a 25 amp cable. What it would be at 50 feet is irrelevant. The wire gauge is small (hence the low price) so if you try to draw 30 amps through it a couple things will happen. Whatever you have turned on that needs full current will act strange (I have been told that AC compressors tend to burn out rapidly if not supplied with sufficient current) and the cord is going to heat up. If the cord is exposed (which at 100 ft for most people it would be) solar heating will further increase the resistance. The insulation seems cheap and its longevity in an exposed application is questionable. I do not trust this cord, and am displeased about the misrepresentation, and will be returning it.

I like that it's very flexible and has a good grip. Other than that it's an extension cord and does what it should.
