Well I wanted the extension cord but hit the wrong box and ordered the cord that attaches to the rv. Ok, I have a backup now. What I liked. The cord is very heavy duty and well made. It has an ETL listing. What I did not like. The over moulding on the ends smells like silicone, the male plug handle is very flexible, the twist lock end should be a 90 degree connector, the twist lock itself feels like a cheap plastic and the alignment ball is molded in and hard to see. My current cord it is metal.Overall the cord performs as it should and decent quality. Also the the handle included should have been longer. To short for the way it is wrapped when it is shipped.

I used this to make an RV extension cord by cutting off the twist lock end and adding a female 14-50. The cables are very fine stranded copper wire and the insulation is durable and thick. Worked great for my application.

This extension cord is half the weight of the big brand cords and its less of a handle to wind and unwind. To be honest. I highly prefer this one over our previous brand that we had. It's perfect for storing and now I can actually roll it up myself instead of waiting for my husband to do it. The other brand was so heavy that it started bending at the connection point. This cord offers more stability at the connection points and because of the that it's lighter in weight, the insulation won't separate as quick as the other brand has.I've had my fair share of rv extension cords and this one is a perfect find. I'm happy to have found it. I highly recommend.

With right adapter (SS2-50P to 14-50R), this cable also works as an extension for 14-50 outlets. We sometimes need an extension to charger our EV. Using this cable with a SS2-50 plug to 14-50 receptacle adapter works perfectly. This cable is HEAVY so not something we just keep in our vehicle all the time.
