These diamond-head 2" long floral pins are designed to hold corsages and bouquets in place, but they're also handy for securing wigs to a cork-filled mannequin head. I actually like straight pins better than t-pins in some cases, for example when blocking out a delicate lace front, because they are less likely to accidentally catch or snag the mesh. The big shiny crystal bead on top makes these pins easy to find and remove when taking the wig off the head after it's finished, and they can even be left visible, and incorporated into an updo or side-swept style, as a decorative accent. The seller Dulinkas is currently offering a box of 200 on Amazon for only $5.99, and that's a great price for basically a lifetime supply of pins. There are SO many possible applications for these, from florals, to wigs, to costumes and crafts; once you have them in your DIY arsenal, you'll wonder how you ever lived without them!

These are very long (2") pins with a clear plastic faceted "diamond" top meant to secure corsages that also have plenty of other uses wherever a long pin is needed. I've been using them around my sewing room for a variety of different uses whenever I have needed an extra long pin. They are quite sharp as pins need to be. They seem to be strong enough to go through several layers of fabric. So far I haven't had the heads come off of any of the pins.The pins come in a nice plastic storage case which is important for this type of accessory. The price seems reasonable for 200 pins.Recommended.

I recently got married, and I used these for the bridal bouquet. It made it comes to life even more! It made it look like there were diamonds on top of the flowers. I think the pins are a great length to use on so many things and the crystals are solid and don't break easily. This is a great set depending on what your project is!

I use these pins to hold XPS foam together during gluing. They have nice heads that help with pushing and pulling comfortably.
