I have been looking for an 80-100W higher power glue gun that was genuinely cordless. I have several top brands and use one of which boasts limited-use cordless but it's really just a heat reserve for a couple of minutes of use before you have to place it back on the dock. This uses Dewalt 20V Max batteries and I happen to have many tools that use these batteries so it works out great! How well does it work? Actually, it very well, after the initial warmup period of 3-5 minutes as claimed it produces hot glue like all the other guns I have with the exception of a professional 100W model that I have which is a plugin type that heats up a bit faster but not a lot faster. It has an even flow rate, does not drip when sitting upright on the bottom battery surface, and is well-balanced. If you are looking for a cordless glue gun to use around the house, garage, or even outside without having to drag around an extension cord and find a plug then this unit has you covered!I have already sold this concept and unit to many of my family, members, and friends, which are going to purchase one also, so I have some additional people using and testing and hopefully, they will also do a review based on their experience. I look forward to adding to this review, as I continue to use this in various capacities. But so far this is looking good. This takes standard-size glue sticks, I haven't tried some of my specialty glue sticks through it yet, but I will update this as I do. I suspect it'll probably work well. Battery life on a 6.0 AM battery has been very good and I have not come to the point where I've depleted the battery even by 50% for most of the uses that I've done. Again is well balanced, and even with a 6.0AH battery the weight is not anything to be concerned about for even a lengthy amount of time that you're using it, typically in between uses, you'll set it down for 30 seconds, or a minute and then pick it back up. Use it and set it back down I don't see where you'd be holding this thing unless it was a job you were doing up on the ladder somewhere where you needed to hold it for a length of time, but then even with that, it is not anything that is too heavy to hold.More to come, stay tuned!

It takes a while to heat up, probably 5 minutes, but once hot, it works as well as a corded glue gun. if it holds up, it's well worth it.

As the title says, the glue gun worked fine the first two times, then the switch to turn it on died. I replaced the switch, and it worked one more time. Today the trigger broke too. No quality, it never really got SUPER hot, so you have to really SQUEEZE the trigger to make the glue stick advance. Do not buy.

Works great. Uses Dewalt batteries. Just takes a bit to warm up. Using a 4 amp or higher battery helps a lot

I’ve recently started dabbling in PDR, so I wanted a cordless glue gun. I’m not sure the operating temp of this model, but even after letting it heat up for 10 minutes or more it struggles to push out the PDR glue.Functionally it’s great. Battery lasts forever with a 5ah Makita battery. It’s super easy to use. Just wish it got a bit hotter.

The coolest. Takes about 5 minutes to warm all the way up. Once it’s warmed up works great. I use with my 20v dewalt battery.
