This is an excellent set of freezer/fridge thermometers that are accurate and easy to place almost anywhere thanks to the integrated stand/clip/hanger on the back of each one. They barely take up any space at all but they're quite sturdy and made of stainless steel, which makes them very durable and suitable for long-term exposure to being inside the freezer and fridge. With such a large set of them you can easily set up multiple to check for consistent temperature in your fridge/freezer in multiple places at once, too! They do take a long while to catch up to the current temperature, which is standard with thermometers like this. They're made to help you see what temperature your fridge and freezer stay at on average, not to give you an instant reading.A large set like this is great if you're looking to check consistency in your fridge or freezer. A lot of the times a dying or low-quality fridge will be colder in one area than another, which means your food might only be at a safe temperature in some spots and not in others. With a set of thermometers like this, you can check to see in multiple places all at the same time, to know if you're keeping your food safe or not!If you're in the market for a set of fridge/freezer thermometers, I highly recommend this set, it's a great value.I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis. I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review. I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product. I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable. If I get multiple of something it's because I regularly use and need both of them. And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.

These are great in that they are purely mechanical analog thermometers that do not require a battery. Getting the multipack meant I had one for all 5 of my refrigerated and freezer spaces and don't have to move the single digital one I had around to the one we questioned as working properly. Having a cold thermometer like this allows you to tell if the unit is working or not before the spoiled food tells you its broken. All my cold spaces have a thermometer now that you can read at any time and I never have to worry about the battery dying. The temperatures are also color coded to show when you are too warm, when they have proper refrigeration below 40 degrees and when are below freezing and below zero which is convenient so someone who doesn't know what temp it should be can simply see it's in the wrong color/zone. The temperature reading was in line with what the digital one I had was indicating so I am assuming they are reading correctly. The only real negative to these is the refrigeration zone is physically only maybe a 1/4 inch wide if even that in real life on the device which means you need decent eyesight to know if a refrigerator is working and will have a hard time telling 40 degrees from 39. I thought for the price the design was perfectly reasonable though since you probably want your refrigerator to be closer to the middle of the gray zone than one end so you are keeping things cold enough for safe food storage without over working the unit. In that case it's easy to know then you have gotten too warm due to a problem with the unit or the door being open too long.I think these are great for when you are wondering "Is it working right?" and having enough to keep one in there at all times lets you answer that right away. Not sure everyone needs 12 of them but they do go up to 85 degrees if you wanted to spread them throughout the living space as well.

These are basic freezer thermometers, with a hook to hang on the edge of a shelf or on a bar of a rack-style shelf, and a flat base to sit on a shelf. As the listing says, the holes on the back are larger than many similar thermometers, which is supposed to let the indicator adjust more quickly to changes- though I expect that's more about reducing impact of the steel than strictly improving air flow. This is a box of 12. They're all stacked up, each in its own bubble wrap pouch to keep them unscratched. The case is stainless steel, and it has enough iron to be very attractive to magnets. The dial section seems to be separate from the frame, but they are very securely pressed together. I wasn't able to get the dial to turn, much less pop out of the frame. The listing says the steel is 430 stainless, so it shouldn't ever rust, but it's still magnetic, unlike food-grade 304 stainless. The dial is easy to read, and it has color ranges so you can see at a glance whether the temperature is appropriate for your use. It goes up to 80F, so it will also work as a small room thermometer. Since the dial is numbered in 10s, they're more useful in F than in C. 0C / 32F is top center, and the bottom numbers in C go +/- 20, and the top numbers in F go from -20 to +80. Since the listing says they work to +/- 30C, that's probably the end of the colored ranges, but they aren't numbered that way.The range from -20 to 0F is colored in dark blue and marked as O.K.FREEZE - the range where you want a freezer to be operating. 0 to 32F is colored light blue and marked as FREEZING - your food won't spoil, but you want it colder than that. Things other than pure water will start to thaw as temperatures approach 32F. The range between 32 and 40F is colored purple and marked REF - this is the narrow range where you want a refrigerator. Above 40F is colored in red and marked WARM. This is not safe for foods unless they're shelf-stable, and they will start to spoil.I got this pack because I just got a new upright freezer, and it doesn't have a display of the current temperature. The freezer is in my basement, which has HVAC, but it doesn't get as much circulation as the house and the temperature isn't as steady. With 12 thermometers, I put one at the top and bottom of the freezer, one on top of the freezer so I know the room temperature, one in the garage, one in my kitchen fridge, and one in my kitchen freezer compartment, and I have some leftover for later uses. All the ones I've compared so far show within about a degree of the same temperature. I compared them with a cooking thermometer, which showed them to be about 2 degrees off from what it said. I pulled out some mid-range smart thermometers, and these seem to be about 3 degrees off room temperature. I checked again in my upright freezer these were bought for, and it looks the same there. So across different comparison thermometers and different temperature ranges, these seem to show about 2-3 degrees warmer than the others. I'm not marking off much for that, since I'd much rather them show too warm than too cold.I knocked off one star for two things. One, they are in the frames so tight they won't rotate. This type of thermometer can usually be rotated so you can clip it / tape it / magnet it to a side or top. And second, the temperature is off by 2-3 degrees, which is important for a refrigerator where you only have an 8 degree window. The listing says they have an accuracy of +/- 2 degrees C, so they're closer than that - if they were showing 2 degrees C / 3.6 degrees F colder than they actually are, that would be a problem. You want something with a narrower range for a fridge, unless you just want a rough idea of the current temperature. If you want these as Celsius thermometers, you might consider them an extra star off. The Celsius range could use some more indicator numbers.
