3.You can install it efficiently by watching the paper installation instructions or by watching a video

It leaked when put on. Had to caulk around it so water would leak in shower not behind wall. Very dissatisfied but needed to get shower fixed. Disappointed.

This 1222 Replacement Cartridge kit fit my Moen Posi Temp bath faucet, however it did not have an "O" ring on the rearward part of the valve assembly, which matched the original and very worn, component.There was no instruction indicating this rear "O" ring was unnecessary, so I put the assembly together without it and so far it has not leakedThe original part was a real PITA to remove, using the tool to rock the valve back and forth while pulling the assembly eventually provided success. Therefore, don't assume this is a 10min job, as you will most likely struggle with the old valve for 20-30 min before you get it out.

From the first of 3 separate installation and reinstallations, it never had water temperatures that corresponded to where the lever was set, unless it was set at full hot or full cold. When dialed down in increments from full hot, the temperature remained mostly full hot as far as past pointing straight up 12:00 position to about the 1:00 position. If it was started in the full cold position it would maintain mostly cold to past the straight up 12:00 position to around 11:00 till it would start to warm. It was consistently inconsistent. I pitched it after 2 weeks and replaced with OEM. No problem with that one at all.

Was iffy about this off brand/no name brand moen posi temp cartridge. But as of 4weeks of using it, no problems so far. Just hoping this off brand will last a few years

price feels a bit high for what it is. The included silicone oil and instructions are helpful, but considering the materials, it seems overpriced compared to similar options.

Noticed shower was dripping when off.Looked online and found out I needed this replacement cartridge.It comes with a plastic remove (it let you rotate the old cartridge for easy removal.The piece us cheap plastic and broke when I tried to turn it.It therefore made a 20 minute replacement into a 2 1/2 hour job.Most of that time trying to remove the old worn out cartridge.My advise is to order the metal remover and save yourself 2 hours of agravation.
