Your cart is empty.Relay Buddy 12/24 is a quick go / no-go tester for the most common automotive relays. This new version Relay Buddy tests both 12 and 24 volt relays. If the relay fails the test, 3 different trouble codes will advise you of the possible causes for the failed relay. The red LED will flash once, twice or three times to indicate the problem. Trouble code definitions are printed on the back of the tester for your convenience. Relay Buddy 12/24 provides you with an indication of the general health and functioning of the relay switch contacts and coil. It will check the control side of the relay by applying a signal to the relay coil while it checks for proper functioning of the relay contacts. Relay Buddy operates the relay several times during each test session as it watches for consistency in every cycle. Relay Buddy will fail the relay and light the RED LED if any one of the cycles proves unsuccessful during the test session.

My son and I are car guys. When we are having an electrical issue with one of our cars we typically go to the fuse box. We check fuses then relays. This handy tool speeds up the process. Yes you can use jumpers but what a pain. I suggest upgrading and getting the adapter for the not so common, common relay that every car after 02 seems to have. Great tool.

All is good with this same as u can buy off other trucks that sell them which I wi not mention do ur research on some items that are offered off of trucks that come to ur place of work some are better off the truck but sum u can save lil money looking around

I bought this expensive relay tester thinking that it looks like a high quality piece, but in less than 3 months and after less than 5 times of use, it failed! .. it just gives code 2 all the time, even when no relay connected. that really wasted my time thinking that I have a bad relay that causing the issue in my car, I took a drive to the parts store to pickup a new relay then back home and wasted another day just to discover that the relay is fine but this tester is not! .. I built a very simple relay tester using some basic led lights and some wires instead.

This 192 ES 12/24V Relay Tester can not test the 4 pins of 24V SIEMENS VF7-41H11-S05. Neither the same 4 pins, 24V relay of Tyco VF7-41H11-S05. The pins sockets are too narrow for these relays (can not plug in) Please let me know if you have a socket connectors for the above mentioned relays, thanks !
