They do the job and fit in the drill better than the normal bit without the hex head. Can't say they hold up much better though.

I bought these bits along with a brand new, 1/4” Craftsman impact drill to drill holes in concrete. The shank of the bit was coated with a black substance that felt rubbery to the touch. When I fed the bit into the chuck, the fit was too snug, and it did not click to indicate it had seated. The bit cut four holes before I needed to replace it, but I could not remove the worn bit. It is still stuck in the chuck.Amazon did a courtesy credit, and sold me a new drill at half price. Way more than fair, they were in no way obligated. Amazon is more than reliable, they are beyond just being fair.My ral complaint is against the mfr., Owl Tools. I called the co.’s 800 number the day of the failure, I got a recorded message to leave information. That was 2 weeks ago. I have had no one return my call.In addition, I submitted a complaint on their website, again some 2 weeks ago, and no one has responded to it. The responsibility is Owl’s to assist me in how to remove the bit, or to replace the Craftsman drill. But they won’t even communicate with me.Now, my project is 2 weeks behind schedule, the Amazon drill is arriving today, but I don’t have the bits to complete the job. I would really appreciate receiving a call or an email from someone at Owl Tools to settle the matter satisfactorily.I see here that many reviewers here have a high opinion of Owl products, and it may be that I received and used the 1 intolerant bit out of 100,000. But without my speaking with someone at the company, I cannot change my mind about the quality. Please contact me through Amazon, Owl.

I do maintenance work at my job. Constantly drilling into concrete and block walls for anchors. These work great! The quick connect works, I've even used them with my hammer drill. Will buy again when I need more!
