I used these with a carbide punch to fasten termination strips to concrete block and granite walls. Between the two of them I could drill right through everything and there was no skating of the punch or bits. Then I could put hammer drive anchors right there. There were no hole mismatches over the 10 foot lengths of the termination strips. Well worth the investment.

If you’ve ever used a dull bit, you know how slow it is. I used these to reattach a screen enclosure where all the fasteners had rusted out. i used 2 bits for around 20 holes and it was so much better than struggling to force a dull bit. no breakage. super fast drilling. can’t speak to longevity cause i expected them to be disposable. a related life pro tip, use brand name concrete screws. i started with generic and sheared about 20%; you know what a pain that is. once i switched I broke zero.

The 4 of the 6 bits do not fit the chuck of my SDS Plus rotary hammer, the sizes are very inconsistent. The first bit fit great and performed well until it finally broke. The second was a tight fit and when it broke it was stuck in the chuck…removing it was incredibly hard. After that we test ed the other 4 bits and 1 was super tight so we didn’t even try to insert it all the way into the chuck. The other 3 we couldn’t get them to fit at all. With nothing to lose we filed the shank thinking there might be burrs from the grooves and that didn’t improve the fitment, so guessing something with the pattern is off?

This is the best, hardess and longest lasting concrete bit we have ever used. We have bought and used perhaps a dozen brands over the years, for example the one labelled and sold by Tapcon, and others we purchased on Amazon, or at,for example, Home Depot, and they simply do not last long or do the job properly. We set an M-18 Milwaukee impact drill (not impoact hammer) to Hammer Mode and drilled away off-and-on for about an hour and perhaps twenty 3 1/2" holes. We set the speed setting (either 1 or 2) to 1 which provides the mazimum torque and a slower spin speed. The one bit was still working an hour later! We are happy campers.

Bit that came with the name brand anchors would not work. These Bits worked like a champ. Full depth of needed hole in seconds.

Worked great, but only needed it for a few holes. No noticeable slowdown for those holes, though!

Debatable better than some big box stores name brands

These are a great price for the amount you pay. Won't last as long as the brand name ones. But honestly at this price, I'll buy these any day over the others.

Unfortunately, I have now used 3 of theses bits and within 1st couple uses, the bits were bent. So no more of these for me, price was great but guess you get what you pay for.
