I used these plugs for a extension cord for a powder coat oven. They make it very easy to plug in and unplug the heavy extension cord. This is the second time I have used this type of plugs for equipment and love how well they work.

When the plug on my 50 amp RV electrical cord separated from the shielding and I could see the wires I thought I’d need to replace the whole cord. I gave this end a try and I’m happy I did. Be sure to follow the directions and cut each wire to the exact length. If you do that, everything will fit correctly. I recommend this product.

I assembled two of these with 3+1 6-ga wire running through 3/4" flexible conduit and it was about as easy to use as it could be, using that big ol' cable. The only problem I encountered was when I tried to cinch the hold down bail, the plastic holding those two screws broke off pretty easily.

50 amp plug from generator to house circuit panel works great. A tad of a wrestle with heavy gauge wires installed in the plug, but it works!
