These are wonderful filters.Yes, the water flows seems to be a tad diminished, but just a tad and my kitties don't seem to have a problem with it. I think this may be due to there being more charcoal in the filter than other filters - I could be mistaken, but I believe this means it's doing a better job at filtering the water?As for the charcoal dust - after giving the filters a very good initial rinse before they're installed (I rinse, shake, rinse - & repeat 3 or 4 times), I'm not seeing any further charcoal dust. Other filters I've purchased (including the name brand) have continuously put out charcoal dust no matter how much I've rinsed them beforehand. Doesn't seem to be a concern with these filters and I've now used 4 of the 8 filters.A very good value and I will be purchasing them again.

fits well in my half gallon Petwell PetSmart water fountain. cheaper too! I am very happy with the product.

I changed from a plastic cat fountain to a ceramic one to help alleviate a skin rash. It's working! These are the filters for it, and a must for it!

After switching to these, the pressure of the water that gets through the filter has dropped just enough that the water no longer hits the little triangle, so now the water is VERY loud.Overall a solid product, but not a 1:1 replacement because of this.

We received the order on time and packaged well. The charcoal filter and water filter that goes around the pump fit perfectly. I was happy to find this on-line since my local store discontinued it. Very happy with the service and product received.

We were happy to find these on Amazon. They’re easy for my husband to install.Keep your pet healthy, change the water filter as recommended.

No stars. These are horrible. The filter membrane material actually repels water so that it doesn’t end up flowing through the filter media. The water gets slimy and full of hair and my cat can’t drink out of the top spout as water bypasses the filter and just sprays out the side of the pump housing. Cat’s mad, I’m mad. These are junk! They also are just millimeters too big for the housing meaning they sit crooked and there is yet another route for water to bypass the filter, not get cleaned. I do not recommend this product to anyone.
