After a 12 hour dust storm covered the surface of my pool with a thick layer leaves and turned the water inky black, I desperately needed a fine mesh leaf net. My old pool net caught the leaves, but left behind the smaller dust and dirt particles behind. I cringed as I watched the trail of fine particles following my old net. Of course all that junk eventually sunk to the bottom, creating a layer of sludge that took several days of repeated filter washing to remove.I was livid when Amazon botched the promised early morning delivery of my new TidyMaster net, advising it would instead be delivered the following day. Happily, it was delivered four hours later than originally promised. I put it to work immediately.I’m not easy to impress, but this fine mesh net worked perfectly. It captured the tiniest dust and pollen particles, allowing me to skim them off before they could sink to the bottom. The only minor drawback is that this net is a bit more challenging to empty than conventional pool nets. The TidyMaster fabric is sturdy and stiffer than a conventional net, so there’s a learning curve for emptying it. Still, there’s no other product I’ve found that removes fine particles they way this net does, so I give it my full endorsement: highly recommended!Nope, I didn’t get this as a promotion. I didn’t get a special discount. I didn’t receive compensation for this review. I have zero financial connection to this company. I’m just an average consumer. Very sturdy and high quality. Perfect size for catching everything unwanted floating in your pool. Holes are perfect size so nothing slips through. Looks cool and performs just as well. I broke two other nets simply by using them. This net has been a great value up to this point.

I have to say, this pool net sat in my Amazon box for a few months. I didn’t want to dish out more money for yet another “fine mesh†net.I finally decided to give it a shot, besides it Amazon, I could always return it.Wow, am I happy I made the decision, wish I would have made it sooner.This net is so so fine that it picks up everything. If your like me, I like my pool to free of every little particle my eye can see, and this gets it.It is a little hard to drag since it is super fine so you do have to put a little muscle into it, but so worth it.It does almost feel “plastic†like? It’s stiff but I’m thinking that’s because of the mesh being so tightYou will NOT regret getting this net. Happy to give this one five stars

This was a great purchase. While I wish the fabric was a little more pliable, it's so fine that it picks up much more than my previous net. So much more that it cut down on the number of times I have to vacuum, which I greatly appreciate.

The quality of this net is amazing, it literally gets everything in the pool. It’s a bit heavy because the water doesn’t go through it very fast since it’s a double layer of fine filtered netting so you do have to go slow but it’s so worth it that I only use my original net for leaves at the bottom. Highly recommend if your like me and want your pool debris freeðŸ‘

Best net, worth the extra cost. This net eats everything - sand, gnats, hair, pollen, one-eyed Willy’s dandruff. Some nets push the water and debris as you go making netting frustrating, this net eats and nourishes on everything. Then I use a hose to wash it out, good as new. Seems durable after 2 weeks use. The photo is what it ate after doing a thorough pool clean and then seeing what the net can get from surface that I can’t even see. This stuff is from one trip around pool surface. Scoops leaves and stuff from the bottom of pool as well as any net. So I use this net first to get what it can from pool floor, then use pool vacuum from there.

Definitely a sturdy skimmer and does pick up smaller items (like gnats). However, despite what this says, it DOES NOT do a good job with pollen- it passes right through.

Good net for your pool. The net itself is quite hard/ridgid in the pool. Gets small particles but need a through rinse to clean. Rim can scoop up debris tooVery expensive for what it is - however.

Very effective at picking up fine debris. Well worth having if you are a bit obsessive. I have a few other “fine†nets and this one is noticeably finer mesh. Makes a difference. Have been using for a few months without quality issues - at this point, if it did break, I would feel I got value from the net because the performance is worth it.

I am very happy with this purchase which I use it to scoop out the thick sludge in our pond. I originally looked at the cheaper skimmer nets but the inconsistent and negative reviews on them pushed me into buying this more expensive unit. The extra cost is money well spent.
