I've had no problems, installed it easily on 1991 tercel. Still works to this day.

I bought this 9 months ago, and just got around to installing. I'm totally outside the return window for a bad product, so I'm just plain stuck having to buy another else where they will work. There is no point in even contacting sell. System won't permit it.The part is the same dimension as factory origina on the outside, but the plunger does not go in far to make the back up lights work. When the plunger is pressed in completely while sensor is not in the car it does make the lights work, but not when in the transmission.

Hardest part on the 2002 echo replacement was getting to it. Top right position on the transmission right under the air box. Once you get to it was a 3 min job. Got backup lights now!
