How to make canned food at home?
1. Sterilization in water bath
Before making jars, it is necessary to sterilize the utensils, otherwise the food will be easily spoiled.
2. Pour in the food to be canned
Using a funnel when pouring the original jam will prevent it from spilling. It is more convenient to use the spoon provided.
3. Sterilize Lid in Water Bath
Soak lids separately for further sanitization. Keep both the jar and the lid in a sanitized state.
4. Magnetic Lid Lifter
Lids can be placed without touching with magnetic lid lifter, avoiding direct contact with hot lid after sterilization
5. Tighten lids to seal cans
The jars can be easily tightened with the aid of a wrench.
6. Heat the jars in canning pot
After tightening the jars, use a lift to place the sealed jars into the pot and begin canning.

I bought this after harvesting 15 lbs of beans. Living my best homesteading wannabe life and realized my was not big enough. All the extras included were great. Would recommend goggles as the steam from this huge boiling babe is no joke.Pot took a minute to heat up- it’s huge,but worked on the grill and stove (sorry not ready for open fire canning yet). The lid does leak a bit which is annoying but not a deal breaker.Last week picked blackberries and broke her out again and main preserves and jam. Great buy for a beginner.
