This is a very nice and long pole saw! The blade is light and very sharp! You can reach branches upto about15 ft high with all the extension rods hooked up. Cutting branches, especially dead branches, is very easy and fast.I use it only for pruning the trees in my yard and it is amazing at that job! But the fruit catcher looks great as well. Just be careful, the saw is very sharp and can hurt someone if not used with caution!Assembly is very easy, and once you're done, if you wish, you can fold it up by unscrewing all the rods (except the last one which needs to be secured using a thumb screw) within 5 minutes. It comes with a plastic pouch to store all the parts in.The only thing I would like would be a better sheath for the saw. It came with a plastic cover which was already scraped by the knife edges.

The hand saw is really hard and has a good angle for efficient cutting of small branches and limbs. This helps you clear off old dead branches or lives ones that are in the way. After a heavy session of work.... the saw blade is still very sharp. The picker tool takes getting use to and is a bit awkward to use effectively. I rather knock off all the fruit that I can reach and just use the picker tool for very high up fruit. Good tools to have around to harvest your fruit tree and to keep it looking trimmed and maintained.

So far so good. I've only used the picker basket with padding so far (not the pole saw). It works well.

I have several fruit trees on my property that will be needing pruning this winter. The citrus trees are especially hard to prune because of the web of branches going every which way.I had a "tree trimming service" come out to trim my trees 5 years ago, and all they did was cut the tree branches straight across - like a crew cut. The last tree is finally recovered from the shady tree trimming company, and I will be doing the pruning myself.I tried the branch saw on two dead branches of my old white oak, and the saw blade took the branches off quite easily. Makes my life easier when I have quality tools to work with.
