  • Fix Faults: Each LED bulb requires a 50W 6 ohm load resistor, which can effectively prevent rapid flashing, false alarms or bulb failures in LED turn signals, parking lights or license plate lights, ensuring the vehicle lighting system works properly
  • Premium Material: The LED resistor turn signal shell is made of high quality aluminum alloy with excellent durability and heat dissipation performance, which effectively prevents deformation or damage and ensures stability during long time use. Meanwhile, the wire length is 5.9 inches, which is enough to meet various installation needs
  • Installation Process: Installation requires connecting one wire to the ground and the other wire to the steering or brake line. The four quick wire clips included with the resistors for LED lights can be used to connect existing wires, but depending on the model, older models may require more complicated wiring handling
  • Note: The turn signal resistor for LED light generates heat when operating and is recommended to be mounted on a metal surface and away from plastic, hoses or painted areas to prevent melting or damage. However, there is no need to worry if the flasher is on continuously for no more than 20 minutes
  • Widely Used: The LED tail light resistor is suitable for 12V voltage system, adapted to the majority of models of turn signals, brake lights, daytime running lights and other LED light systems, the working temperature range is wide (-65 ℃ to +200 ℃), so it is suitable for a variety of environments

  • Each LED bulb needs to be equipped with a 50W 6 ohm load resistor, which can effectively prevent rapid flickering and alarm failure.

  • Made of high quality aluminum alloy, durable and good heat dissipation to ensure long-term use without deformation.

  • Recommended to install on metal surfaces, away from plastic and painted surfaces to prevent overheating and damage.

  • Easy to install by simply grounding one wire and connecting the other to the steering/brake cable.

  • No need to worry about overheating as long as you don't let the flasher stay on continuously for more than 20 minutes.

Both resisters seem well made. The wires are attached soundly with a sleeve over the resister posts. Both measure about 6.6 ohms, which is more than close enough to work in my application where they will be loads for testing 12V batteries.I'm not going to be using the little splicing things, so no comment about them.

These resistors are rated at 50W and are a 6 ohm resistor. Frankly that's a pretty ambitious rating for a resistor of this size, but the do seem to be up to the task. These resistors are intended to be placed in line with the flasher load to simulate the load of the filaments of regular incandescent lamps, causing your LED replacement lamps to flash at the same rate as the OEM tungsten filament lamps. The reason I deducted one star is because the manufacturer supplied blade-lok style crimp connectors to complete the connections. For a load of 50w, these kind of crimp connectors are really just not up to the task. These connections should be crimped with a proper barrel connector - or better yet - soldered and shrink wrapped. Using a cheapo "quickie install shortcut" like the crimp connectors they supplied is a bad precedent. These connector types are not reliable and should not be used in any application where safety in a concern. Properly functioning turn signals is a saftey system issue. Therefore, I dinged one star.Besides that, they look o.k. I recommend that you mount them on a surface in your vehicle that will allow them to dissipate heat - NOT a surface that runs or gets hot.Four stars for the substandard crimps. The resistors look o.k.

Previous owner had replaced all the turn signal lamps with LED's, and the flash way too fast. Slowed it down to normal.

The pair I received measure at 6.2 and 6.3 ohms. Within spec if the tolerance is ±5%. As others have noted they can get rather warm. I suggest you use these for projects that require less than the rated wattage. Note that the listing description recommends mounting them to a metal surface to dissipate heat -- it would be good if a warning was included with the physical product for safety's sake.

Heat up, but in my case, didn't allow high beams or blue indicator light to work when used with Hocolo H4 8000*K bulbs (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DJ5W6SJG).

I'm using these resistors to pre-charge an inverter used with a 12v solar power bank. They're working well and I'm getting no sparks.

I ordered the BFXM 2Pcs 50W 6Ohm Load Resistors because I previously ordered two different brands of LED turn signal bulbs that are advertised as having built-in resistors that prevent fast flashing. Unfortunately, both brands worked at first, but after a couple of months began to give errors and fast flash. The seller recommends that these resistors be mounted to a metal surface because they generate heat, but also states that mounting to metal is not necessary if the bulb is not allowed to flash for more than 20 minutes. My experience indicates that these resistors should be mounted to metal in all cases. I installed one to a rear turn signal, mounted on a metal surface, and let it flash. After about five minutes, the resistor was far too hot to touch; I am sure it would have burned my skin if I had been in contact with it for more than a split second. The metal the resistor is mounted to also was getting hot, although I could still touch it. With that amount of heat in only five minutes, I would not trust these resistors if they were not mounted to a metal heat sink surface. The BFXM 2Pcs 50W 6Ohm Load Resistors do what they are advertised to do, at least initially, but I can only give them four stars because the heat issue is more of a problem than the seller claims.

Installed led lights in my 1979 Corvette and these fixed the blinker issues I was having. Very easy to install didn't use the wire connectors they include not a fan of them being a mechanic for 40 years. But they worked just like they are supposed to.
