Item is just as described. The weight of it is not too light and not too heavy. The quality appears to look good as well. I haven’t used them yet. I ordered this item based off the reviews I’d read. I’m definitely going to try them out. They look good and the feel of them is great.

Four stars because I was looking for something softer than G1 tympani sticks. Otherwise nice and a good value. These have a tight, defined attack. The sticks are thin, similar to 7A sticks. Good value. We'll see how they last.

I was looking for a softer head on the sticks as I plan to use them on my cajone. I love playing the cajone but using my hands is uncomfortable due to arthritis. So I padded the heads and the sound is great! I am sure if you are using them for a tympanic drum head they would be fine.
