We installed the gas cylinder from our previous machine [that just broke after 10 years of use] thinking we'd use it up before installing the one that came with the unit. Our old cylinder was empty, of course it didn't carbonate the water. Next we overfilled the water bottle and of course it leaked. We filled the next bottle with the correct amount of water and no leaks. Funny how we were too stupid to read the instructions first. This new unit has several improvements over the previous models. Had I know about them I would have replaced my old unit much sooner. This new model is a hundred time easier to use. I am going to order a couple more for birthday gifts.

really unhappy with soda stream due to introducing new model incompatible with old. this seller had a newer version of the old model (blue cannisters, which still seem to be available) and it works much better than the older model i had, on which some type of seal broke. I hope that soda stream continues to make the blue cannisters available. product overall is excellent, especially if you drink a lot of selter

I bought this to replace my old one that started leaking air. This machine was one of the few that I found that takes the old blue screw-on cannisters. I was a little surprised that this was a manual pump machine as my last one was electric with automatic carbonation with a push of a button. However, this machine works just as good and I can store or operate it anywhere since it doesn't need to be plugged in. Hope they keep making these old models because I have a lot of blue cannisters stocked up because of the pandemic.

I purchased this mechanism (no electric or batteries needed) device back in early May and had no issues at all with it for six months. This morning (Nov. 10, 24), the device was stuck on full on and before I could get the thing unstuck it had spilled over 3/4 of the bottles' water over the top and onto my floor. Have that happen to you at 5:30am!!! 50 paper towels later, I tried with another water bottle and the device is stuck in operation somehow, all i get is immense foaming water that spills my water over the bottle's top. I immediately cut off the flow (1/4 of the bottle this time), mopped that up, and gave up.I love this device and have re-ordered, hoping this is just a fluke, but if this happens again, I will have to try with another soda-water maker company. PLEASE tell me it was just a fluke in your manufacturing!UPDATE: November 18, 2024--I ordered another Sodastream and reached out to the seller, Avir, Inc. and received a refund on this defective item just an hour or so later. My policy about such things is "you don't stop buying apples because the second one you bought was rotten" and I hope this third Sodastream I get is a good one. The first one I bought (this is #3 on the way) only lasted five months, but I was using it heavily and my calculations tell me I made a profit on its use over the plastic bottles I was drinking. So call me satisfied overall. I am upgrading my rating accordingly.SECOND UPDATE--January 18, 2025, My replacement Sodastream has ALSO malfunctioned, I was using it to carbonate a one-liter Sodastream bottle and the gadget got STUCK on the ON feature and wouldn't shut off, it spewed water all over my kitchen counter and floor before I managed to yank the bottle out, the cartridge, a new one, was completely drained by this. i am past the return date but feel totally ripped off, my first one lasted a long time, but this was less than two months, I can't afford to spend $50.00 PLUS the C02 CARTRIDGES for carbonated water. I am giving up on this product, sadly, I was ready to be a lifetime customer but not under these conditions. THESE PRODUCTS ARE JUNK and YOU SHOULD NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEM!!!

Love this soda machine. Love the value set and ease of use and setup.Highly recommend just wish you could use other liquids along with water to create different drinks. Other then that good product.

I had some user errors and the seller was super responsive and ready to fix any problem i thought i was having. In the end with their help i fixed my mistakes and im super happy i chose this soda streamer its the exact one I usto have except for this one seems built slightly better and it's not as loud as my old one.

For years I considered getting a soda stream. I'm not a sugary soda drinker; I drink water, and sometimes add lemon to it ... but I've always enjoyed a soda water, only ever buying it on sale, and then having to lug it up to the house. Being able to make my own soda water, on demand, in whatever amount I want: PRICELESS!I also thought it would be complicated, and even get nervous changing my BBQ's propane tank, but the SodaStream is SOOOO easy. Love it!

I use it everyday. Not sure if this is a cheaper option than buying soda water from a 2L bottle. I like the fact that I can put as much or as little carbonation as I would like (usually more carbonation is my preference). I do not get the 60L per canister but that is likely because of my greater level of carbonation. I have no regrets with my purchase. I love this thing so much that I gave one away as a Christmas gift!

Une fois le bon dosage trouvé, il est très facile de créer la boisson juste à notre goût.Meilleurs résultats avec de l'eau déjà réfrigérée. Et moi je fais avec de l'eau préalablement bouillie pour enlever l'odeur de chlore qu'on a ici.

Good all around. And the displays are fun, but not very useful. In my opinion having used the base model (push button on top vs this model), the LED are not that valuable and I feel like this one uses more CO2 for the same result. I seem to go through more canisters with this model.
