Erayco Circuit Breaker with Manual Reset,12-48 Volt DC, 0-8 Gauge
Function
Protects the trolling motor from electrical damage, prevents exexxive current and stops power surges from damaging Amps.
How to work
1. Circuit break protection: When the current reaches the cut-off value, the long handle automatically bounces and cuts off the power supply. Generally, it trips in a short circuit condition. After the fault is eliminated, press the long handle back to the original position to form a path.
2. Manually cut off the power: We need to disconnect the circuit when refitting, and directly press the oval red button on the insurance. At this time, the long handle automatically pops up to cut off the power. Connect as above, then press the long handle back to its original position.

Note:
1. Wiring IN (BAT) incoming, OUT (AUX) outgoing.
2. No need to disassemble or install insurance core when break down. Just switch on or off the device.
3. Please order and use the Circuit Breaker with right work temperature, to avoid it is too heat and stop work.
4. Please correctly push the button to avoid damage the Circuit Breaker.

I had the 100 amp circuit breaker version of this, and it worked well. So when I was upgrading my stereo system, I needed a bigger breaker, a 250 amp. So when I seen that they had a 250 amp, I picked it up. It seems very well built, it will accept zero gauge all the way up to 8 gauge wire. It comes with the Allen key, and the thread area where the worm screws goes in, it's fairly thick. It works well, and I can definitely recommend it.

This claims to be a 300A fuse but cannot support AWG 4/0 (0000) wiring which can carry 300A of current ( 0.46 inches in diameter). instead it only support AWG 0 wiring.

I use this for the solar system at my off grid cabin. It is the breaker between my batteries and inverter. Functions as it should. I find it helpful for diagnosing issues and for when I have to work on my system. Much easier to trip this then to pull a fuse.
