I have a 100 gallon water tank in my cleaning van I always used a traditional float valve- they always fail results is a flooded van. These are fail safe.😎

easy to install. also works on gravity (2 LB) water pressure. When water flow slows. easy to clean metal screen great trash catcher.

I thought it was leaking and noisy, but it was because there was debris in the water. It actually works well, and fits in a pretty small space.Good product! But fairly slow shipping, so only 4 stars.

they do not fit the end of the garden hose but they do work, once you go to the ace and buy adapters. LOL. will not buy it again, I will just use the float systems.

I bought this as an experiment for the automatic water troughs at my horse farm. Other brands have too many design flaws, especially in a pasture full of young geldings. Guess where the word "horseplay" comes from. They have vandalized just about every automatic waterer I have ever tried. The 3/4" NPT fitting in the listing photo is actually an adapter bushing screwed onto a 1/2" NPT nipple, so you're covered either way. I like that the valve can be disassembled and cleaned but it's too early to tell how long it will last. When I configured an install fitting, I found that the valve sits pretty low down in the trough. It would be nice if there was an adjustment to allow deeper water but again, it's too early to tell if it will be a problem. If you look at the valve and see the ribs, it shuts off just about at the bottom third. If I were to build it up higher on the tank rim, I'm just inviting vandalism to the hardware.I'm trading off improved anti-vandalism capability, while losing about 3-4 inches of water depth in the tank. Hopefully that won't be a problem, but the FL summer sun can heat up a shallow tank pretty quickly, so we will see how it works out. Note the copper pipe lying in the bottom of the tank. It seriously inhibits algae growth.
